Which countries are the Biggest Military Powers ?

Since, we are having this much ISIS discussion lately, I realized that I actually did not have concrete information about military powers of countries so I decided to do a little research about countries with significant military presence and power. And I wanted to share these data since I kinda summed them up for myself already ...

Why ? Their population is so huge that, even if they were as poor as Somalia, they would be ranked in Top 10 since GDP will still be huge.

There is no such list but I found this rank of 10 top most hated countries

1- North Korea
2- Saudi Arabia
3- United States of America
4- Israel
5- Turkey
6- Russia
7- Iran 
8- China
9- India 
10-Pakistan

Go figure it =D I think colonial western european countries could easily be added too... They also killed so many people...

Most of the time the countries with the biggest military are the countries with the best means to kill more people anyway.

It is not necessarily like that... There are countries in africa where all different kind of people kill each other because there is no army or state organization to kill or punish the ones who trigger everything.

I will never get why countries like Israel,Turkey,Russia or USA are in that. I mean there are so many African questionable countries, but I guess it's because of they don't know many african countries.

Why would those african countries be hated ? Their biggest threat is to themselves. 

Israel is really aggressive militarily, and there is anti-semitism. Turks invaded and ruled way too many nations for centuries; even only these nations had anti-turk sentiments, it would be enough to rank Turkey in top 10. Russia ,in the same vein, was an expansionist nation, and also there was cold war where they made half of the world their enemies.. USA is way too powerful to not to be hated. More power comes with more hate.

Interesting stats, thanks for taking the time to look them up.   

Most taxes of the world goes to building each country's military buildup... Think about if all that money could be used for something else, like education, medical research, or infrastructure? It's a mad world we live in.

With more power comes more fear and thus hate. United States started as an expansionist nation as well... And in a way, it still expands in influence. How many nations are not affected or influenced by the U.S. in some way?
