Putin will now have no chill and I support ha

He has plenty of... Couple hours after, Putin bullsh*tted about serious consequences, his spokesperson declared that Putin did not mean military action... He couldn't anyways ---> NATO.

Plus Turkey buy plenty of energy from Russia, but doesn't export that to them. Economic actions of Russia won't harm Turkey.

I don't think anybody with sense would think this would genuinely lead to armed conflict. There are other ways of expressing disdain

What can he possibly do ? He will probably fund PKK, a separatist kurdish terrorist organization active in Turkey... There is nothing more he can do.

Russia is behaving arrogantly. They did the same thing to finland, estonia and many other countries; NATO warned them so many times. Except, these countries did not take action... Russia deserved it ...

Turkey's action was totally in legal boundaries.

And if there was no NATO, Russia would still not attack Turkey... A war is never a joke, or a child's game. For their GDP per capita is even lower than Turkey. A big scale war means seemingly decreasing life quality for russian citizens.... Believe me nobody takes these kinds of actions without considering its consequences.

By not listening to warnings about airspace violations Russia was giving the message that they do not respect territorial sovereignty of other countries, they got an answer. We know that Turkey is not at the par with Russia military-wise. But Turkey's military power also is not that insignificant that it would let Russia go without any problem no matter what they do. I don't understand what you expect. Should turks give every right to Russian Army not to respect Turkish territory ?

"And if there was no NATO..." :neyde: It would be less blood, death, suffering, humiliation and other bad things.

It is an another discussion how the world would be if there was no NATO but simply saying that there would be less blood, death etc without NATO is very biased; which is not the discussion of now considering I am not a philosopher ... Same could be said for any nation perhaps. World without Russia and russians would have less blood, same for turks, americans, any mother nations... What is your point ?

I think it is not necessary to be an supporter certain positions and opinions. There is no true position , no rights. All the perpetrators and accomplices of this disgrace. So it is unnecessary to blame a particular country , everyone is looking for the benefits of the world's crap.

Turkey has done such a thing to destroy to anti-IS coalition that France has been desperately creating since Nov 13th. Many, many Russian jets have been flying near the Syrian-Turkish borders without problems, why that particular one has been shot down?

Bad move Turkey, really, REALLY bad.

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

Was anyone hurt?

There were 2 Russian pilots. One was killed by Free Syrian Army it was coming down with parachute. Nobody knows what happen to other pilot. Also, a russian helicopter went to area to find pilots; Free Syrian Army shot the helicopter down too, I don't know how many soldiers in it.

It was not flying near. It flew in Turkish Airspace. And Turkey did not shoot down a Russian Jet last month that did the same which is the only case a foreign jet flew through Turkish Airspace without permission, and was not shot down.

Turkey warned Russia for it. Russia said it will not happen again. John Kerry even said Turkey could have shot down the jet; NATO publicly warned Russia etc. Even these talks were made. Russia did the same, 10 warnings were made before Russian jet flew into the Turkish Airspace.

Also area where plane was shot has no ISIS presence. US defense minister even said 90% of Russian attacks were not against ISIS.... (North Western Syria bounded by Hatay City of Turkey and Mediterranean Sea.)

No authority except Russian, and Syrian authorities think it is wrong.

Plus I am sure NATO is delighted that Russia received a certain message, because Russia committed Airspace Violations against some other NATO countries like Finland, Estonia but they did not want to take risk of any conflict with Russia and Russia did not care about warnings of NATO. So I am quite certain: this was supposed to be done.

HONEY ARE YOU LISTENING ?

1- Russia was not attacking ISIS

That area does not have ISIS presence !!! Russia's priority is saving Assad which simply equals saving their own presence in middle east. US defense minister even said 90% of Russian attacks were not against ISIS.... (North Western Syria bounded by Hatay City of Turkey and Mediterranean Sea.) Look at the map. Grey is ISIS. Red-Green part at the top left part of Syria is where Russia is attacking.

2- Russia committed NATO members' Airspace violations before.

And NATO warned them so many times, but countries like Estonia that does not have significant military presence did not want to take actions. Within rules of engagement, Turkey had every right to shoot that jet down. Russia was trying to test Turkey; there is no other explanation to Russian Jet crossing turkish border despite 10 warnings made as jet approached to border. Simply to explain, Russia got an answer to an action it was constantly doing despite warnings.

Claim with no receipt. What I love the most.

Even US military approved that they heard Turkish Airforces warning Russian jet to change direction immediately on emergency frequency 10 times in 5 minutes as they approached turkish airspace.

Even if there was no warning, Turkey could have shot down any jet violating its Airspace without permission.

With ISIS in power at the moment, I really think every other nation should minimise any sort of conflict and unite to fight this evil that is threatening us all. Unity defeats singularity. ISIS is 1; everyone else is many.

IS is not that bad.. Assad is monster #1. Also scary is that Al Qaeda is planning a comeback and you could imagine what a competition who-scares-the-west-the-best could lead to.

We shouldn't forget that the enemies of the West are Assad, Iran and Russia (and Hezbollah) and all terrorism (from Breivik to Mali to Afghanistan to the KKK).
