lego 44,165
Kayla Gerber, a 24-year-old actress, had just left a rehearsal near Bloor and Bathurst streets on Monday when a man approached her as she walked. “He told me to take off my f****n hijab and get the f**k out of his country and he just kept repeating that over and over and over again, screaming at me while he had me pinned up against the wall,” she explained. Gerber, who isn’t Muslim, said she had wrapped her scarf around her head to keep her ears warm. “I remember saying to him that I’m not even wearing a hijab bro and he just kept shaking me and screaming at me to get out of his country and I’m like, ‘I’m not Muslim.’ ” “I would never think that someone could be so hateful because he didn’t know me, I didn’t know him, he doesn’t know my life.” http://www.citynews.ca/2015/11/20/toronto-woman-assaulted-after-her-scarf-is-mistaken-for-hijab/ FreePalestine

And I don't see why women would still hide behind a blanket, require that only females control them at airports, and only female doctors exhibit them, feminism? Tolerance and love? I'm sorry but this isn't Europe I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

The niqab might not be part of Islam but still u have no right to treat it like that, everyone has the right to dress the way they want. And the fact that u react to the hijab as 'ugh' shows how ignorant you are. IDK why people can't just let people dress the way they want

IDK why people can't just let people dress the way they want I get where you come from, you're fighting for the right to wear whatever we want right? WHY WOMEN ARE ALLOWED TO SHOW THEIR SKIN BUT NOT HIDE IT???? Well, as Gaga said "It's not a statement as much as just a move of fashion". Women wearing short shorts/dresses is acceptable because they either do it for fashion, for celebrating their equality and freedom or just because they like that damn dress. If women were forced (by culture, by religion, by siblings or elders) to only wear short shorts, that would be slavery and morally wrong, you're not giving women the right to wear something, you're inciting them to do so to appease some ideology. You would have to say the same thing about men, dressing as Bin Laden and having a heavy bushy beard should be morally acceptable to you? And we'd have to fight for equality for them too? Don't blindly fight for things, read about them first : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niqāb I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.
