Palestinian attacks in Israel and W Bank kill five Israelis

Featured Posts

At least five people have been killed in two attacks in Israel and the occupied West Bank, officials say.

In the first attack, two Israelis were stabbed to death by a Palestinian man at the entrance of a shop that serves as a synagogue in the city of Tel Aviv.

Later, a third Israeli and two other people were killed in a gun and vehicle attack near a Jewish settlement.

A wave of violence over the past two months has claimed the lives of 15 Israelis and dozens of Palestinians.

Many of the Palestinian fatalities were knife-wielding attackers of Israelis, shot by their victims or security forces. Others have been killed in clashes with troops in the West Bank or in cross-border violence in Gaza.

Really horrible news and unjustifiable.

I hope the violence stops soon.

Two things though, there is no reason for gory images, unless there is a warning and a spoiler. Not everyone wants to see that.

Second, I can't at biased BBC reporting:

》A wave of violence over the past two months has claimed the lives of 15 Israelis and dozens of Palestinians.

Many of the Palestinian fatalities were knife-wielding attackers of Israelis, shot by their victims or security forces. 《

Specific number of Israeli victims - Palestinians - "dozens",  is that other word for 86?

"many palestinian fatalities were knife-wielding attackers", not exactly true - many were caught on tape posing no danger, some were even shot in the back by iof or the settlers, sometimes in suspicious circumstances knives appeared next to bodies out of nowhere; others were killed in raids or while protesting, that means "clashes".

How that last paragraph should look like imo:

"A series of attacks have been carried out by Palestinian individuals on Israeli military and civilians since the beginning of last month, leaving at least 15 Israelis dead.

At least 86 Palestinians have been killed during the same time period, many of whom were shot dead under circumstances in which human rights groups said Israeli forces used unnecessary force.

Over 7,000 Palestinians have been injured in the same time period.

And the number of Injured Israelis (insert here)."

That's all I have to say about that.
