Yes she did, but I don't think there's a minimum of album sales for an album to enter the Grammys? Also, that may not have discouraged her, since she just released a video for a new single, 'Your Type' and it's literal perfection.

Just asking, no hate

Well she surely doesnt deserves to flop but good music is not the only thing that makes you succes

Frankly speaking, 1989, it's obvious.

This guy explain how.it works within comittee:

http://www.complex.com/music/2014/01/how-does-grammy-voting-work

"I soon learned another unwritten rule in private conversations with other comittee members: be careful about green-lighting an album by someone who was really famous if you don't want to see that album win a Grammy."

Read more of it on link given above.

This is pretty difficult. I've said countless times how I loved E•MO•TION but I also do love 1989.

Let me do some comparison.

Run Away With Me Vs. Welcome to New York

E•MO•TION Vs. Blank Space

I Really Like You Vs. Style

Gimmie Love Vs. Out of the Woods

All That Vs. All You Had To Do Was Stay

Boy Problems Vs. Shake It Off

Making the Most of the Night Vs. I Wish You Would

Your Type Vs. Bad Blood

Let's Get Lost Vs. Wildest Dreams

LA Hallucinations Vs. How You Get the Girl

Warm Blood Vs. This Love

When I Needed You Vs. I Know Places

Black Heart Vs. Clean

I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance Vs. Wonderland

Favourite Colour Vs. New Romantics

-

1989: 8

E•MO•TION: 6

1989 is the better album. But E•MO•TION comes second. :)

You're not funny, dear.

But E•MO•TION deserves to win, but 1989 will probably take the award.

"Runaway away with Me"and "Warm Blood" beats out any song on 1989 And I've been a taylor fan since "Teardrop on my Guitar". I hope Emotion gets a grammy nom, it really is a great album. :hor:

It was so difficult between the two. I enjoyed both songs. But I checked their plays, Run Away With Me with 32 while Welcome to New York's 17.

Run Away With Me should've been a smash. Should've been the lead single. Carly, please.

If you don't want to be dragged, don't make these "jokes" that only seem funny to you.
