Did France really hit ISIS Headquarters ???

To be honest, I personally don't believe that France found ISIS headquarters in only 1 day, and attacked them. NATO works co-operatively against ISIS, I am sure these targets would have already been bombed by NATO if they were known.

It has been a known fact that most countries spread these kinds of misinformations in order to give strong sense of security to their citizens by showing that they can deal with these problems easily.

I personally don't believe that France actually hit important locations of ISIS...

PS: Also it is not likely that a terrorist organization has a very centered mechanism with a specified single headquarter.

I thought I read somewhere that the "locations" were already found days ago AND this was a pre-planned attack... ??

Sorry, but no one was talking about their headquarter.

I saw a map with x on couple locations claiming them to be headquarter, and training bases of ISIS.

yeah i heard the aircraft carriers were ready to be deployed on november 5th before any attacks on paris. and i only heard about them bombing a training/recruiting center, not the ISIS headquarters :\

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

Oh, I did not know that... Then why did only France attack by itself .. It is unlikely that a NATO strike would be conducted by a single country.

You know... I am not sure if i trust NATO to tell the truth either. What they did during the Yugoslavian Civil War ( 1 example I will use is bombing a children's hospital in Serbia) but why is none of this ever documented or recorded?

I think both sides are hiding alot atm.

No, I am being honest; I am not doing any sort of propaganda. Plus I am francophone, studied french literature, and civilization for 5 years; so I quite like France.

But, of course, France would bomb civilian villages, all countries do it; it is a way to give a message, or sometimes an obligation considering most terrorist organizations use human shields for their ammunition, put ammunitions in hospitals etc... I can admit the same for my country too... It would be outrageous for a country to accept it publicly, but it is also a thing every single country with active military operations do.

We know which cities they've taken. They aren't out in huts and caves for the most part. Isis has taken entire cities as its stronghold. Raqqa is the main one, and that's the one they went for. So it hasn't been a secret from the start.

A disorganized group of radicals doesn't have one headquarters like you're probably thinking. And we would potentially like to allow for some gathering places to exist before terminating them so we can gather intelligence from them, so no they wouldn't be destroyed right away.

from what I've read, this bombing was planned in advance. The attacks might of expedited the plan but no they didn't figure it all out in one day.

You're right to the extent that they are larger than a territory. But they ARE organized, more than any other terror organization thus far. They have cities. They have oil. They have an economy. They have police.

ISIS has geographic locations. They are far and beyond them, no doubt, but they are different because they have taken land by force. They took banks full of gold and money. Raqqa is just one of the cities that they occupy. Their goal is to be legitimate and to have an even larger territory.

You're absolutely right about letting them be for a long time. Likely, the thinking was that to attack them was to dust up more recruits for them, to legitimize them through military force. That didn't work so far.
