She, as you or me, has the right of express her support if she wants to.

Maybe she doesn't want to write it down on her social media, or maybe she'll eventually say something. That's her choice, it's not an obligation. Calm down pal

She DOESN'T HAVE TO. She has her own reasons for it and we should respect that.

She doesn't have to, But it shows good character if she does.

i never knew that.. thanks for the info. i read up on how people started something to convince her to come and not cancel it, but it was too much for her to risk it.

Because everyone's going to label her an attention ***** for posting about something that's getting attention.

Not necessarily. Not every disaster has to be followed up by a headcount of public prayer and morality. I would go so far as to say that the pressured obligation of speaking about every social issue waters down the sincerity.

Because she doesn't have to say anything :neyde:

Not everything has to be about tweets and posts, she's a human being with her own thoughts and opinions that don't need to be transcribed onto the internet to give an official stance for every world crisis. She's an artist not a politician.

Just to 'show good character' shouldn't be the intention of tweeting something about Paris.

Of course she cares ! She loves France !

I just think she'd better be quiet about it. We all know she has been threatened by terrorists in the past and knowing that Paris' terrorism implied concert room, I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to take risks and put herself, her staff and her fans in danger when she'll be on tour. Gaga is known to be a commited artist about issues Islamist terrorists do not defend (gay issues, equality matters, women's right and so on)..

Just my opinion about her silence.

You make some good points, But still I'm surprised she hasn't tweeted anything..since she loves France.

Paris isn't the only country that witnessed a tragedy yesterday. There's also Japan, Lebanon and Iraq. So technically it's inconsiderate from the media and the public for paying dust to those.

The last time I checked she was a pop star, a singer. Her job is not to post on every issue that happens in the world.

THANK YOU

So in 2015 if you don't hashtag a tragedy it's "f*cked up".

Of course she cares, she's a good person. And she loves Paris. But she may have her reasons for not doing it, or maybe she feels like sending out an 140 character message about innocent people dying is insincere and doesn't do those people justice. Maybe she doesn't feel like getting involved in the slacktivism of putting the French flag over her profile picture that most people will get rid of in a few days once the media moves onto something else.

I really am growing to hate social media and the culture of it more and more.
