The tiny yellow alien wearing curious goggles can be spotted nestled between astromech droids new and old, BB-8 and R2-D2.

'Her history is that she was a pirate for a long time,' he revealed. 'She's lived over a thousand years. 
'She's had this watering hole for about a century, and it's like another bar that you'd find in a corner of the Star Wars universe.'

He also explained that the eyes hiding behind those goggles have special meaning and power. 
'I had some specific ideas about how she would work and what she would do,' he continued. 'I had this pitch about these goggles that she wore. Her eyes are an important aspect of her character, and you'll see how it plays out.'

What's tragic? That she's not some bombshell? Get a ****ing life. It's a sci fi movie. Other than her oscar, she's not exactly a well known or reputable big name actress. She's only been in 1 movie you can name without googling. 

What's so bad about being "the next yoda"? Yoda is one of, if not the, most iconic movie characters of all time. Anyone would be honoured to be "the next Yoda". 

You all need to get a reality check.

Lupita is such a beautiful woman. Her red carpet outfits are always so unique and beautiful.

I think Lupita is trying to take credit for Poot's acting.

The creators didn't want to spend money on CGI so they've used Poot as an actor (knowing she's amazing). 

But they've played it off like Lupita is the actor and she's using CGI so they don't seem cheap.
