Additionally data so far suggests further contraction in GDP Unless numbers are later revised upwards, Japan has now entered its 4th recession since the financial crisis 7 years ago meaning on average each recession has been spaced less than 2 years apart With the worlds highest debt burden in the world at 230% of GDP (annual economic output) and a stagnant exonomy for 25-30 years, Japan is desperately trying to find ways to revive growth Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well it means less demand for goods from Japan but this isnt new. Its a situation theyve faced aince befire most of us were born. A stagnant economy failing to take off is such old news its hardly talked about anymore. Even a small European Country unexpectedly getting bad data affects speculation markets/stocks more than Japan at this point At least they invented QE to help lift inflation and create emergency liquidity.
