I like how you think scientific research is "bashing". Lulz...

But it doesn't surprise me that a religious person is turning a blind eye to science, again.

I already admitted that I was half awake when I read this thread. Science was my best subject in school. I'm majoring in biology. Please kindly hop off.

I shared just fine thanks. Just another attempt to bash people's beliefs. When will this world co exist in peace and let people believe and be who they want?

Well i'm taking my introductory classes this semester, as well as Chemistry (which is hard lol). Next semester I am doing Physics and Genetics. Still picking out my schedule for next.

Economy

Ok the countries chosen may sway this tho

Canada: immigrants are generally more religious than Canadians and immigrants from poor lands may have a tendency to hoard things for themselves which may be passes to their kids

China, South Africa: Much of the population still lives in poverty. The ones not in poverty may be more likely to abandon their faith but less poor also means more able to share

3/5 Countries will have factors to sway this

In the US same can be said what i said about Canada with immigrants at least with muslims (i know many cheistians are American descent)

I cant take these numbers or fidings seriously

Well, science and especially researches like that (where you don't have a direct proof) should be questioned always. I don't agree with the wording the user made, but being critical is always good and not blindly believing something!

The sentiment that religion preaches: "peace, love, etc" is an empty one. It will never be that way for as long as religion exists. Religious teachings encourage selfishness, exclusion & ridicule of the weak and different. Look beyond it.

Stop ****ing taking your opinion as a fact and as the truth. I disagree with you.

You disagree because you're religious. How can there be peace when religions disagree with each other?  Re-evaluate your thoughts.

It's sad that that more people don't practice what they preach. If parents don't do their job, what should they expect?

Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

Communist disagree with Capitalists. Should we get rid of politics now too?

Politics change and have a purpose. Religion does not.

imwoahvicky

I personally believe that it all leads down to the source: the parents. It depends on how they raise their children, what they want them to believe, how to act, etc.

If a child's parents are racist, obviously they'll pass their prejudices on to the child.

If a child's parents are rude and nasty, it'll pass on to the child.

But if a children's parents teach their child to be a loving, caring, open-minded person, they'll grow up just as that.
