I am quite frankly disgusted at this notion. I just can't stand this attitude. I almost started crying because some of my closest friends are transgendered men and women. I will never respect someone who wants to abandon someone when they themselves know what it's like to be abandoned. Why force a people to stand alone when we can stand together to cast a beautiful light. The whole purpose for the rainbow in our pride flag is to represent all of the facets of humanity. It's for all the gender identities, orientations, s-xualities, etc that aren't hetero- and cis. Gay, straight, bi, trans*, inters-x, genderqueer, there's a freaking million of them and we're all fighting the same fight for equality, recognition, and respect.
