People here are not bashing fashion or fashion brands, it's about how capitalism turns people into animals and how people can go crazy and overpay for things that are not worth of it at all.

Well, I don't see it that way.

People have the need to look good, it is human nature. And many of these famous brands are very well made. 

And people loves that, especially it will promote you to higher places.

People that are well dressed during interview will likely get a job and higher pay, or get office leave permit easier, or get people being friendlier to you.

And H&M are known for having affordable brand names collab so I don't see what's wrong for people to try to get one for themselves, it is not everday one can get a thousands bucks jacket for half the price and new, genuine, and branded.

Some people have at least own an item of branded goods as a gift to themselves, because they worked hard and they deserved it. And whenever they wear it, it adds extra confidence, because they know they can and the branded goods is the proof of that.

Not everything have to be frowned upon and then accuse capitalism as the black sheep.

I'm not denying that, but I doubt there's many differences between a white plain BALMAIN tee shirt and a PRIMARK one.

I never talked about people looking/wanting to look good. And of course, wearing brands you like gives you confidence, but if you work hard to achieve 700$ maybe expending them on just a tee shirt is not the best idea.

It has nothing to do with wanting to look good, it's people who want to buy this **** so they can show everyone how exclusive they are because it's limited edition. These collabs brands make with H&M are nothing but an illusion. Yes, it's branded clothes for low prices but also low quality. You're not gonna get a job because you wear something from H&M, specially in the fashion world.
