Have you not listened to the studio version of TIHTY? It's exactly like this or more "forced". She even said that she was CRYING when she ****ing recorded that song. That's how she wants to sing it, theatrically and painfully.

Good grief... Some of you guys are such nick pickers. She doesn't sound bad... When she sings, she changes her voice in ways that would sound more appropriate for the song. This song is about assault, so of course shes not going to sing in a high/pop/happy voice.

Firstly, they aren't even bad. They're rather nice at some points. I wouldn't say it's very good but I wouldn't insult it at all. 

Secondly, one performance does not dictate the sound of her new album omg. It sounds even more ridiculous when you say it out loud.

Guys i think its purposely sung like this. To me it sounds more like she is emotionally invested in it rather than anything else. I don't see what everyone else is seeing and I don't think its meant to sound as polished as those other songs. To me it only adds effect and cause and makes sense with the subject matter and how personal it is to her. Infact if it soudned perfect I wouldn't like it. I think a song so emotional like this needs to be raw and "human"/rough 

It isn't the style of her vocals that are the problem here. I  love her "dope" vocals, and many of her performances with that emotional style are my favorite. However, in this performance her voice at the high notes sound off. Her voice is mostly fine throughout but the high notes made me cringe hard. I'm not saying I want her to be perfect or polished. I like raw performances, but this is just bad. It isn't a big deal though she sounded good on the other songs she just needs to practice TIHTY. It's OK to admit she isn't flawless and can do a bad performance sometimes. Although I'm glad some enjoyed it.

Her voice sounds fantastic, and I like that her voice cracks like that during a high note, it makes the song sound more raw and emotional. 

This is Till It Happens To You, a sad song made for a documentary about rape, not Summerboy. This is how the song it is supposed to sound.

GUYS..... it's an undeniable fact that gaga's voice was pretty bad that night, i guess she has a sore throat or sth.. she just couldnt keep control of her voice. It shaked many times and THOSE NOTES WERE AN EASY PIE TO THAT POWER HOUSE VOCALIST. BUT PLS DONT SAY THIS PERFORMANCE HAD GOOD VOCALS coz it didnt. I'm not talkin about those little emotional cracks. they have go be there, but holding a note is different than singing that note with a cracking voice.

I'm really happy with this performance. Her voice seems a bit exhausted but she gave her best. Didn't someone said that she had problems with her in-ear piece? She puts it out after the first chorus. It's pretty hard to sing without to hear yourself.
