ARTPOP era, we got rid of all the fakes and fame hungry fans.

It was during the Judas era where things went awry with fans, which sucks because Judas is amazing. By the end of the BTWB and when ARTPOP was happening was just like the cherry on top of that point in time. With the critical acclaim from this year, it's helped gain some momentum back, but that's just how I see the timeline.

With Born This Way, she became overexposed and there was a big media backlash. I think GP fans left but my little monster self became even a bigger fan. I think she found her niche and is going to do well with that. I don't care about the GP.

A lot of casual fans and listeners started leaving and turning during Alejandro video mess. But it was apparent how the casual listeners were over her during BTW. People will argue that BTW sold the most of any album but gaga was at her peak and anything she would have released would have smashed. But I believe BTW is what sent her career into a nosedive.

People will say Born This Way, but she actually still had a lot of fans and could easily recover from a bit of overexposure.

She started losing fans when she became messy at the end of the BTW Ball in 2012, started hanging out with Terry Richardson and released a subpar album (ARTPOP).

most people outside of the internet have no idea who terry richardson is so idek why you're bringing him into this.

ot: probably ARTPOP or C2C

Born This Way cuz then she became a niche "gay" popstar and the GP was turned off...

By the time ARTPOP came around, the same million first week sales went down 75%...she lost fans BEFORE ARTPOP...not during

I think C2C. So many fans HATED and were pissed that she released a Jazz album.

I wouldn't say that. It's true that some fans were not too thrilled about Gaga doing a jazz album, but overall I think the response was quite good, especially since the critical reception was pretty positive. If anything, the C2C era helped Gaga gain new fans, because people finally saw what a great singer she really is. A lot of people who normally don't care for Gaga's music started paying attention to her. I don't think that C2C was a deal breaker, I think most people understood that it was a side project and were just like, okay, well I'll just wait for the next pop album then.

Late TFM era...starting from Alejandro's 'blasphemous' MV, then Dance in the Dark(I always wanted to see its MV:rip:), then Born This Way(song & album)–(this is where she went to polarize herself into the LGBT community, and considering how hated the LGBT community were back then...:rip:)–, then Judas (it's an awesome song but it was released at the wrong time I guess), then The Edge of Glory's MV mess (:cryga:), then MTN's flopping here and there (despite her performance atop the moon)–(the Yoü And I mini era was the most stable imo)–, then Applause (its release were overshadowed by Katy's Roar ffs it's such a good song to be wasted:cryga:), then the DWUW/Venus me$$(:trollga:), then the release of ARTPOOP, then G.U.Y.(I never expected G.U.Y. to sell that low tbh), and finally the super massive C2C era(:derpga:)

but in the end she still managed to have an enormous amount of fans (and some stans) despite having a lot of downturns and struggles:legend:

Mister Gaga

Born This Way, without doubts :trollga: She touched controversial themes, that no other popstar besides Madonna touched (and i'm glad she did, and she expressed her ideas. Not here for relatable songs and attitudes ala Katy. I don't care if that turned people away from her, i like Gags as she is).

BTW without a doubt. As Gaga would say, the "ziggy stardust" went away and a new persona and sound took over. She knew people would be angry/leave her but she did it because she felt that was the right move for her artistically. I might not have enjoyed everything from that era either, but I appreciate that she stuck to her guns

Born This Way made her lose some casual fans as it was very polarizing. It was a lot to take in.

ARTPOP made her lose serious stans because of the dramatic drop in quality. Gaga was unhappy, uninspired and pretty much done with it the second it began and it all reflected on that album and the era.

Whispering

The Alejandro-meat dress-BTW combination did her in with the GP.

The two videos from those songs, the album cover, the 99 cent mess (thanks Troy), the facial horns, the overall look and attitude, the majority of the music on The album...and then Judas put the final nail in the coffin for many casual fans and the GP in general.
