Yeah but they don't blame dolls lmao.

And Barbie is literally still selling millions alone in the US and UK. Japan, Canada and Germany being the second most countries in demand of Barbie. So she hasn't fizzled. Monster High is the new thing, and they, like Barbie, are inspiring among with many other dolls from different brands.

Gaga doesn't like Barbie (supposedly) but she likes Monster High. Two completely different things.

No. It is still the same, they just made the doll edgier for the new generation. Same program for girls.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

When I was a child and my mom bought me Barbie dolls I never thought to myself how much I wanted to look like/be them, etc.

Sure, they can possibly have to do with some insecurities young girls deal with while growing up but it definitely has more to do with who their peers are and honestly the parents themselves...

This, Barbie doesn't talk, she's not saying you need to be perfect. The people around you (actual people) are sending that message.

The Monster High dolls aren't supposed to be humans though, they are more like caricatures/cartoon figures so there is a difference. Besides, there's no perfect girly blonde character who wears pink all the time. All the dolls have funky hair colours and very dark clothes that wouldn't be considered to be the main thing among children right now.

I have had body issues from a very young age because I CANNOT PUT ON ANY WEIGHT I legitimately am skinny. Permanently. No matter what I do in the gym I look like a survivor from a Nazi Death Camp. I will never be beautiful in my own eyes because of it.

Don't say that hun. I know it seems like empty words, but it's best not to focus on things that can not be changed (stress and depression do nothing good for you). I'm sure you have many other wonderful qualities and features that more than compensate for your perceived flaws. In fact, if you are either of the two people in your profile pic, your a complete cutie with a nice smile. I bet with time you will grow comfortable in your own skin.

Though if it makes you feel better, when you get older your metabolism will slow down and you should gain at least a bit of weight. :)

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

im the whitie on the left

I understand that people find me attractive, i even understand that people find me hot. I just see my flaws everyday... Skin conditions, crooked chest..... I know my flaws too well and they haunt me. So grpwing up looking at these men, hunks, bodybuilders, swimmers...... Athletic builds on all of them, its what i have always wanted but it wont happen

Also regarding the metabolism... My dads family is notorious for their metabolism. Dads 45 and built like a toothpick, his father and brother the same, their grand father.... Its genetically unlikely that i will look like anything more than the letter "l"

Sometimes i look like the letter "h" when bae s that d

Not to trivialize anything you feel in the slightest, but often people wish for what they don't have. I remember once reading that Nicole Kidman and Denise Richards grew up with major body issues. Nicole thought she was too tall, hated her red hair and ivory skin. I think Denise was called "fish face" because of her lips as a teen (or maybe that was Angelina Jolie). Nicole was considered one of the world's most desirable women in the 90's as was Denise in the early millenium. If you understand what people find attractive about you, I would choose to embrace that. Build it up! Of course, if all the other stuff really bothers you perhaps you could talk to your doctor about what foods or physical routines you could engage in to add some bulk and clear up your skin. As for the crooked chest, I've known of a couple of people that have had physical issues. Is it a question of symmetry or is there a large dip (concave)? You don't have to answer that question of course but I know there are some surgical procedures that can adjust physical abnormalities (if that is a route you would consider, just make sure you consult your doctor thoroughly). You also may want to get checked that it doesn't affect your breathing.

May I ask how old you are? Sometimes skin issues clear up on their own over time. My great aunt grew up with really oily skin in her teens and now well into her eighties she has such soft smooth skin. Sometimes something as simple as getting more sun or vitamins can do wonders. :)

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
