I completely agree with you.  Gaga seems happier and more emotionally stable than ever, thus the reason she is tearing down those barriers.  She's basically letting us know that Gaga is her more confident self that lives inside Stefani Germanotta.  

She's such a role model and I wish her nothing but the best in this world.  May her next album era be her most successful yet!

I love this transformation. Don't you think she has never been more inspirational than right now with all her stripped-down looks and messages? She exudes her fragile, vulnerable side and she seems to be so happy cause that's what makes her real. 

LG5 is shaping to be her most interesting record. The mystery, the numerous influences, etc. Blonde or dark hair, I think the final thing will be a joyful and honest collection of songs. Sure she said AHS will "inform" her new music but I hope it will in a liberating way, like accepting your flaws and letting them be discovered by your audience through your music. 

About Gaga being Gaga being Stefani, what e mess, whatever. I think as someone in previous post said, Gaga is too complex to be defined by a single thing. Gaga, as we know her - the art, the performance, will remain for sure. But Gaga as a strong, fierce and fearless version, that guards one tiny sensitive scared girl called Stefani, is becoming more and more a thing of the past. And that's because Stefani has grown to be confident and strong, it's like she accepts herself as who she is, and she doesn't neet to ACT as a strong person, cause she IS, and now she knows it.

She pretty much created the Gaga persona to cope with her anxiety along with music. She's explained that Gaga and Stefani are the same person (obviously) but I do think she's getting more comfortable getting called Stefani and is starting to not care about her trademarks in pop culture and won't let the trademarks define her. I'm probably not making sense because I'm just vomiting whatever's on my mind regarding this quote.

Also I don't think this is much of a surprise/contradiction as some of the drama queens in here make it out to be, I remember her saying something very similar during the Born This Way era already (something along the lines of "Creating/Taking the name of Lady Gaga helped leave behind a lot of the insecurities I had when I was just Stefani")

We always knew it. She said it many times, She said  The wigs and the stuff were because She felt insecure
