Poor Bieber :(

In case anyone didn't know (and I wouldn't blame you) because of all the Amazing Adele fanfare, Justin Bieber released his second single off Purpose called "Sorry". Now the single is selling amazingly with 65,400 copies sold since it's release, like no doubt that could put him at #1 at that rate (especially with the dance video for it), except there's a little British gem called Goddess Adele in the way. With her single "Hello" already selling 200,000 copies since its release, her numbers are dwarfing the Biebs. Judging from how it all went down, I'm thinking that the Biebs and his team didn't know Adele was going to be releasing "Hello" today. It actually seems like they rushed released it thinking Adele was going to release in the next few weeks and wanted to get that second #1 before she came along. The reason i think it might've been rushed released is because it's a little too early to be releasing a second single. It hasn't even been two months since "What Do You Mean?" was released and there's typically a three month gap in between singles if the single is performing well, which "What Do You Mean?" is.

So to add that to the fact that 1D decided to release their album the same day as the Biebs, its just gotta s*ck for him. These Brits are totally stealing his thunder.

I agree with some of this

They were definitely planning for that second #1 debut, it would've had there not been Adele

This kid is a multi-millionaire. There's no need to feel sorry for him.

hahaha I don't really mean "Poor Bieber". I kinda mean it in a sarcastic way. Like aww, i feel bad for you, but I really don't.

Well "Sorry" is a much better song and an evolution for Justin, Hello is not for Adele and she's riding off her name in my eyes, where as he rebuilt his brand and PR to get this far. And One Direction's album is set up to be there best yet, which is sad since they're going on a hiatus which will undoubtably turn into a split and solo careers.

We'll just see when the bandwagon dies down if she is up to scratch or not, a hit in the first few days doesn't mean it'll be there all week nor for multiple weeks.

I'm sure his team will be content with top 10 (or #2?).

Especially considering how many, including myself, thought he'd never see a top 10 song again. Let alone go #1. :dead:

I don't feel sorry for him, I watched his performance on X Factor Australia and he was shocking live. Glad to see someone who can actually sing on top.
