Gaga needs to show her voice on her next solo albums.

Gaga has been showcasing her voice very strongly throughout her discography. Born This Way had some of her most stellar vocals and also musicality. She is a very technical artist. She layers her voice with harmonies and affects. Its there. Alot of people don't hear it. 

Same with ARTPOP. DWUW is one of her most vocally challenging songs.

She'll do something different. Anyone believing otherwise hasn't been paying attention. She has publicly accused Interscope of forcing her to edit her vocals on ALL ALBUMS to make them sound less theatrical (most audible on BTW and ARTPOP) and I don't believe she is just gonna ignore the experience she had with C2C, which taught her an entirely new way of expressing herself musically, one which satisfied her more on multiple levels.

I do think that C2C, TIHTY and IWYL are representations of how she might sound vocally for LG5 for exactly that reason: she has evolved past the notion of making things she can't express herself in fully.

Gah did say she would like to have more raw vocals on the next album but that doesn't have to mean acoustic/piano ballads...Gaga showcased some seriously raw vocals during the Aura demo and that had some autotune but for effect purposes...no cuz she couldn't sing

Plus, she's already proven she can sing time and time again at the Oscars and during the ENTIRE C2C era...I would really like to get back to pop...not Gaga doing Adele/Lana-esque music...

I know what you mean, I want power ballads too but Gaga is a pop star and not really in the same category as Adele and that picture doesn't fit with Gaga so I still want music like before from her with some exceptions of course

I truly hope you didn't mean what you just said.  Gaga was not desperately trying to prove she can sing.  I don't think that was the main reason she collaborated with Tony on Cheek To Cheek.

Anyway, Gaga seems to be in a really good place right now and while I loved her vocals in Dope and TIHTY, I don't think she will sound like that in her new album because I have this feeling her songs are going to be happier sounding.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see what she gives us.

A little off topic but when it comes to her vocals and people complain about those theatrical deep tones she has in Dope & TIHTY y'all stan Bad Romance which if you slightly lowered her Octaves it would sound like that; especially the "i want your leather studded kiss..." part of the first verse and if you've ever heard the lead vocal acapella before you'd know the chorus lead vocals are very Dope-esque just with edited octaves

Also Gaga's never excessively autotuned anyway except when used for effect like SHICD, HML and ARTPOP, she has used Vocal Correction a lot like every popstar does and her octaves are sometimes edited but that's normally it.

her voice would not suit the electronic pop she makes, and i doubt she'd give up electronic music since she's a dance artist primarily and 70-80% of this fanbase fell in love with her & still follow her now in hopes of a solid pop melody driven electronic album. Autotune is necessary because she belts and her pitch change live is often shakey so she needs it. Of course she can sing and I'm sure she'll have that one song like she always does ala Speechless, U&I, Dope etc... but it'll become the track most people always skip as usual.

Imho she needs to make a solid electronic pop album, that is not the same as radio entirely but has elements of what's popular on radio with catchy melodies and fun messages next era, she needs to be less serious because TFM - AP have all been massively serious. I personally want TF type music with the updates I mentioned. Of course I respect that you guys think a blend would be nice but I just don't see it tbh.

Taking into account Gaga's songwriting and producing ability, it's not at all impossible she merges the two elements I mentioned, it won't be too difficult for her, it's a matter of yes or no.

No offence but I think people who skip ballads and only listen to Gaga's dance-pop songs are pretty tasteless. I mean seriously learn to embrace the beauty of ballads, it's not that difficult to do that.

it makes me literally laugh that some people only listen to dance music. How boring is your life? That's why I want her next album to be totally different. I want it to be edgy and weird like born this way. I'm sure it will be like that. But people who hate on her dope voice obviously don't listen to a wide range of music.

and i literally laugh that you still come into these threads thinking you're superior when you want to box her into to Rock music 24/7. And for the record, it's ones personal choice to listen to whichever genre they wish, and I for one listen to many and just because I don't think she'd suit something doesn't mean i dislike a genre or a style it means i think she doesn't suit it plain & simple.
