Taylor goes back to Country again

Taylor Swift definitely remembers where she came from. In fact, the superstar’s 1989 Tour has found her sharing the stage with more country stars than probably ever before, and on Wednesday night (Oct. 21) in Greensboro, N.C., Miranda Lambert had the honor of showing off her ‘backyard swagger’ alongside Swift.

Sporting a custom, glittery 1989 shirt and shaking her hips, Lambert took the stage at the Greensboro Coliseum to sing her country hit “Little Red Wagon,” not showing an ounce of nerves as she belted out the words in a duet with Swift, who grew her roots in country music.

“YOU CAN’T RIDE IN MY LITTLE RED WAGON,” Swift wrote on her massive Instagram page after the concert, sharing a series of excited messages in the form of two video clips and a photo of the ladies in all-black ensembles.

Sam Hunt, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, the Band Perry and Dierks Bentley are among the big country names who’ve taken the stage with Swift in 2015 as she tours the planet showcasing her first official foray into pop music, the 1989 album. The record has spurred a number of hits, most notably the pop smash “Shake It Off,” which proved the formerly country princess capable of mastering all genres.

And while Swift has been on a country kick lately, Lambert is big on girl power at the moment, having completed her all-female Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour just a few days ago on Oct. 17. Despite a rocky summer, the country star remarked earlier in the month that she’s “never felt so inspired” as she does right now, writing new music for her next album. Lambert will take the stage again on Nov. 4 at the 2015 CMA Awards.

The U.S. leg of Swift’s 1989 Tour comes to an end on Oct. 31.

That's not going back to country again completely :saw:

I hope she does go back to Country for her next album tbh. I like Red, Fearless and Speak Now more than 1989. It's just her thing.

tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

That's literally one of the worst country songs out there, and there's lots to choose from. Taylor Swift did country pretty well, but modern pop-country about trucks, girls, swag, beer, more trucks and s-x is just.. gross.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

I never followed Taylor, even when she went pop, but I agree with this right here. You wouldn't believe how many times the red necks in this town say I have no musical taste 'cause I like Gaga then go on to listen to dudes with fake accents singing about drinking a beer and taking a girl on a tractor ride. :bye:

You're stinky
