Didymus 34,380
Islamic terrorism is a world-wide problem. It has strike Europe, The US and even South America during the last decades. Nevertheless, There are 2 Million Israeli-Muslims and about 3 more Palestinian Muslims - do you think it's something that shouldn't bug them at all?I think it bugs them but that they feel like there isn't much that they can do to stop it. Which is an entirely logical response.

Cocaine Heart 4,768
Mandela did support killing innocent european civilians with guns and actually killed many. No he didn't. Where did you even get that from.OT : Of course what he did was wrong, there is no justification. As usual though, the thread will get derailed. Ronlop 6,882
That's not justified.I doubt settlers would've attacked palestenians if they would'nt have attacked first. It was always the Palestinians who started with the terror attacks. Statistically wise, there were alot more Palestinian attacks against Israelis than Israelis against Palestinians. Try again. Which is an entirely logical response. Not at all. In the Israeli-Jewish society or in Christian\Western-societies terrorism is something that is unacceptable by the majority and is rare to happen. A terrorist will mostly be condemned by religious leaders and & political figures and actions will be taken against him. Why couldn't Muslims apply the same standards as well? It's their image & reputation which is being destroyed with any attack.

It's their image & reputation which is being destroyed with any attack.Because how would do they do this?I mean, you can draw a very meaningful parallel to the worldwide pollution and animal suffering caused by the dietary habits of the average Westerner. We all know it's happening and it's impacting the world a lot more than Islamic terrorism and many people are against it, but when demanded to take a stand do you think even 5% would do something?Add to that the difficulty of that 5% being absolutely clueless about how to change something so complex and powerful as the food industry and I think you should realize why simply demanding that people who aren't even directly responsible for something should take large-scale actions to change something that is simply beyond their reach. As usual though, the thread will get derailed.Nelson Mandela was the head of UmKhonto we Sizwe, (MK), the terrorist wing of the ANC and South African Communist Party. At his trial, he had pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence including mobilising terrorist bombing campaigns, which planted bombs in public places, including the Johannesburg railway station. Many innocent people, including women and children, were killed by Nelson Mandela’s MK terrorists. Here are some highlights:-Church Street West, Pretoria, on the 20 May 1983-Amanzimtoti Shopping complex KZN, 23 December 1985-Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court, 17 March 1988-Durban Pick ‘n Pay shopping complex, 1 September 1986-Pretoria Sterland movie complex 16 April 1988-Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, 20 May 1987-Roodepoort Standard Bank 3 June, 1988Tellingly, not only did Mandela refuse to renounce violence, Amnesty refused to take his case stating “the movement recorded that it could not give the name of ‘Prisoner of Conscience’ to anyone associated with violence, even though as in ‘conventional warfare’ a degree of restraint may be exercised.”
mmm 879
Saying "when occupation and apartheid exist against a group of people...I do recognizee the reasons for that" and at the same time you say that "No its not right" is a contradiction. You can't recognize a reason behind killing innocent people who have nothing to do with this conflict. It wasn't the Israeli bus passenger who was stabbed in the bus that is responsible for the Palestinian-Israeli feud, now was he? It wasn't the Israeli woman who was stabbed in front of her children in the ancient city that was responsible for the conflict, right? Well I said I do understand why it exist as to I understand why this would happen but I dont justify it.. for example, if a child was raped alot as a kid and he grows with alot of hate and starts raping people, I understand why this happened but I dont support it. Also many palestinians see people who come to live in israel support the state actions by being an israeli citizent.. ill give you an example: if nazism still exist and still killed jews and people immigrated to be part of the nazism government and increase it, dont you think they support nazism? Yet, you 'recognize' the reasons for the recent attacks against innocent Israelis. You didn't answer me. How does the average bus passenger who was stabbed along with his wife responsible for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict? Because he is Israeli? That's why?
