Iggy Azalea Just Rejected Rita Ora’s ‘Lady Marmalade’ Idea

I can't anymore with Titty Azalea. I wasn't a huge fan of the Lady Marmalade idea but isn't she friends with Rita? Isn't she supposed to be cordial, at least? They had a hit song together and I remember pictures of them and their mothers hanging out. This is like the third time she throws Twitter shade to a collaborator. First Britney, T.I. and now Rita? What kind of rude mess? You can say a lot about Azealia Banks but at least, besides Gaga and that Shystie girl, she's friendly with her collaborators. Her career is literally in the pits of hell and she's still cocky. "Leave me out of the conversation." Reality check girlfriend, this is literally the first time since the T.I. fight and the announcement your tour was cancelled that the general public is made aware of your existence. Besides those floppy threads on here about a new album which is majorly going to flop unless Titty spawns bops like Problem and Fancy again, with a major push from her label and an image make-over. Azealia is a straight-up b*tch somtimes but she has her alternative career, tours small venues with great revenue and is critically acclaimed for her undeniable talent. Iggy was the commercial darling and now that's over I see no reason to throw everyone she's ever known under the bus. Who's next? Charli XCX? This girl needs media training and an etiquette lesson/social class or two.

girl you are trying WAY too hard. and failing. Iggy is on the news literally every other week, don't try it. even when she's purposely being away from the media working on a new project she's still getting major headlines from meaningless tweets, or Demi Lovato interviews, or any other **** where her name is involved. I dont even follow Azealia and know she was also rude to Pharrell after their collab flopped, that guy she was supposed to be on a remix song with from Harlem Shake or whatever, Diplo, the girl she was supposed to go on tour with Michelle K?, her managers she fired, her labels, like literally EVERYONE? and Im surely forgetting a bunch of people. just google it and you'll find more on the "who has azealia had a feud with" lists surely. not to mention Iggy's ""rudeness"" such as this tweet is usually blown completely out of proportion by lames like you comparing it to Azealia (like, da ****) when Iggy's "rude" tweets are also incredibly more tame in comparison to the stuff Azealia says which is usually way more offensive/personal insults. and don't come here acting like Azealia has more of an "alternative" career to fall back on lmao, at this point Iggy most likely doesn't even NEED a career anymore considering all the coins she's made since Fancy blew up, endorsements she can easily still get as both the "first white female rapper to become successful/who tied a Beatles record on Billboard/Australian rapper to chart and collect awards in the US etc" if she wants, isnt she also signed to a modeling agency, shes just focused on her music career as Im sure opportunities are aplenty for her (I mean she IS signed to the same management label as Rita Ora and you see the endorsements she gets with way less of a reason to in comparison to Iggy). and doesn't Iggy share a mansion in LA with her also multimillionaire partner? playa pleathe.

and in regards to Iggy being "friends" with Rita. first of all Rita was the one setting her and the other mentioned girls up with this "idea" knowing they0d get dragged by everyone (especially Iggy by black Twitter and ****) but obviously getting your name in the press is more important to her than being known as an artist for your work. and would you still be friends with someone after finding out they had ****ed an ex boyfriend of yours not to mention one that you had a messy time getting over with? and you have to hear it in the media years later after you've toured and collaborated with her as you've also mentioned. girl code, rules of feminism, Iggy is hardly the one at fault in this one. yea, not cute, and absolutely zero need to feel "sorry" for this other girl and over such a tame response from Iggy who is simply looking out for herself as she should now more than ever.

Some of you acting like Iggy's being out of line by putting down a collab partner...I'm sure you've had moments where you've disagreed with your friends. They just collabed, hardly besties. Rita just wants to get her name out there any way she can since her solo music clearly isn't doing it for her. She's been collabing with as many people as she can to get a hit right now and this is her most desperate idea yet - of course her suggested teammates would be against it. This reminds me of when Jessie J claimed that she wanted a Bang Bang remix with about six other names like Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, etc. It was so cringeworthy to see her act like she didn't realise she was out of her depth. But at least Jessie has a good handful of solo hits (in the UK anyway) whereas Rita's biggest hits are features or have her as the feature. It's no wonder she wants a big collab - it's the only way she can sell.
