thank you for making this thread because I couldn't understand it either...

I mean, I know what she means, but I didn't know what "for days" means... like, it is something you use a lot in english to talk about something you like a lot? "He's got a car for days"? I had never heard it before lol

I'll use legs as an example because it's easier to explain. When someone says "Damn, she's got legs for days!" they're either saying her legs are long but generally it just means that they have beautiful legs

Since I think somebody already answered it, I'm just gonna share a fun fact. That line is really clever because that phrase started to emerge in 1994 which is the time where that scene happened. SmartGa :whitney:

Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want be abused.

Its an expression a metaphor if you will, and it really just means that he has a nice jawline

It's definitely an American colloquialism, and I can only imagine what it sounds like to non-native speakers. lol

But the phrase "...for days" only really applies to a person's body part or appendages. For example: "he's got an ass for days", "she's got legs for days", etc.

To make the explanation clearer ... the ending part of that sentence "...for days" is a slang phrase primarily used in gay communities and it simply means to emphasize an attribute or feature of a person or thing.

For example - "That girl has legs for DAYS" translation "That girl has some long/beautiful legs"

I thought it was a bit of a pun:

1) Donovan is incredibly handsome

2) She wants to drink his blood and could feed on him for days. Vampires typically drink their victims blood on the neck just below the jawline.

He has a Jawline for days means similar to "thats a face for radio" in the film "evolution"

Vampires are creatures of the night. She is saying he is too beautiful to only be restricted to the night, and he should be seen in the light of day. Thats a jawline for days.
