Arizona Sky 10,913
What if LG5's lead single is a dark futuristic synthpop techno masterpiece (Bad Romance & Monster) but with meaningful/empowering/relatable lyrics that are VERY catchy. I think making a single like that would be the best move from a commercial standpoint. The GP loves that side of Gaga & they'd be here for it. I'm sure all of our weaves would be off once we see it debut at #1 with 500k+ sold on its 1st week. So what do you guys think? And if you don't agree, then what should the lead single should sound like in order to be a smash hit. Discuss

adamsenigma 9,520
I'm not sure about another song like Bad Romance, since dance-pop isn't the thing right now, that song sounds way to noisy for music now-a-days. Maybe something more toned down like Alejandro or Monster could work, but it must be fresh, something good & fresh.
Arizona Sky 10,913
What if we wait and see what happens lol you don't need to be so rude I was just asking if you'd be here for it...

chromaticka 4,350
A sound like that right now would make a huge impact, especially since every song on the radio is just like the other. It's like every artist took the same formula for a hit and brewed it up, no originality whatsoever. I really think Gaga releasing something like that would be a good thing. I Met Lady Gaga On February 7th, 2016; Attended Superbowl 51 and Coachella 2017.

APPLAUSE4YOU 411
I don't want to be the one that's labeled "rude" but I just think that's easier said than done. You can write up on a drawboard about how it should sound, relatable lyrics, meaningful, etc. but it comes down to making that one song that is just out of this world. So I don't really think this is a correct way of narrowing down a single's style. Plus, we all know that everything that Gaga writes is meaningful to her so how meaningful are we talking?I'm not her to bash your idea because it sound lovely but I wanted to make that a clear point. Arizona Sky 10,913
If you wanted a smash hit, your best bet would be to do what is popular now. True, but Gaga is much different than the average artist. The GP expects the unexpected from her. As you could see, her music during 2009-11 was different than most popular music during the time and look where it got here.
Red 97,983
no more synthpop pleaseTelling Gaga to not do synthpop is like telling Cake Boss to stop baking cakes If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Arizona Sky 10,913
Actually, the GP started to turn their backs to Gaga when Born This Way dropped, and loved her during Bad Romance By empowering I don't necessarily mean something like Born This Way. I mean relatable, something the GP can relate to. Bad Romance was just that and it became her 2nd biggest hit.
