brownie 5 Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 The orgy scene was actually tastefully/respectfully shot, and was great--but the rape scene went on for far too long and wasn't "shocking"--it was trying too hard to be edgy, and I just wanted it to end. Season 1 : school shooting, latex s-x scenes, dismemberment Season2: ton of s-x, gross special effects, religious controversy Season 3 : more shooting, eyeballs being carved out, tons of s-x Season 4 : finger banging, someone getting sawed in half, tons of gore If you don't like mature content, then AHS is not for you. The Addiction Demon himself is a manifestation/metaphor for d--gs, and that **** ain't cute. He's showing you the horrible sides of d--gs. Heck, even during the rape scene, Sally tells Gabriel that he loves her so that the Addiction Demon will stop. Although disturbing, it's also a very sad scene because it gives you a lot of background for Sally's character. She's chosen d--gs but has never been loved.
