SEVDALIZA 1,274
Irony? The woman who says feminism is only for white women? The woman who claims to only care about black women and doesn't give a sh*t about people of any other races? Calling someone out on "false feminism"? Props if this is satire or comedy, cause I AM laughing operating from another world

Haroon 49,685
What has being a skinny woman before and body enhancements got anything to do with it? And yeah some people are quiet about things until they effect them, but I don't see how Nicki bringing race into it isn't relevant if she hasn't spoken up about racial issues before Basically I don't understand anything Azealia's saying or why

StrawberryBlond 13,996
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Nicki has no room to talk about whitewashing of the hip hop industry and appropriation when she appropriated white people's culture and other artists work to make her into the famous person she is today. She looked and sounded like a regular rap female on the underground mixtape scene, but then Gaga came along in 2008. By the time Nicki broke out in 2010, she looked like a black Lady Gaga, only without the rhyme or reason behind the costumes. She also put a big dance pop vibe on her work, especially on her second album, in the hopes of pulling in white fans. She even wears blue contact lenses, blonde wigs and is rumoured to skin bleach (she did look darker back in the day). Yet, she's apparently proud to be a black woman and respects her culture. But only when her look and culture is in fashion again, apparently (hence, The Pinkprint going back to her roots as urban makes a comeback). Azealia may be wacko but she's got it spot on here. And indeed, Nicki came for Lil Kim way back when, a fellow black woman, yet she happily supported white women. And yet she's claiming to stick up for black women now? What has being a skinny woman before and body enhancements got anything to do with it? And yeah some people are quiet about things until they effect them, but I don't see how Nicki bringing race into it isn't relevant if she hasn't spoken up about racial issues before Basically I don't understand anything Azealia's saying or why Because Nicki has been banging on about Anaconda being a positive body message for women...even though she only got her curvy shape from plastic surgery. it's a contradictory message and an advert for plastic surgery, not empowerment, basically. And Nicki didn't talk about racial issues until she percieved herself to be a victim of them, which suggests that she's not knowledgeable about the whole thing and just wants attention on herself where she can get it.
