Im not 100% sure, but The artist has removed his post and have not posted or mentioned The matter. Unless something else happens its safe to asume its resolved.

It hasn't, as I stated in the OP the post has been most likely removed by Madonna's managment to avoid further negative PR since the original artist has been awfully quiet on social media ever since and started using HUGE watermarks on every of his works posted online.

Even IF this got sent in by fans, her team and Madonna herself should have done background checks on whether the work was genuine or a unlawful proxy/copy. I mean... How sloppy can you be to not even care to do one look up? The artist already contacted her team when the stuff was on her social media and for her to use it nonchalantly AGAIN after her team had been already contacted is nothing but a huge "F*ck you" to the original artist. It just shows that Madonna does not give a single damn about anybody but herself and her 100$ million dollar ass or whatever her net worth is.

thats complete BS! No artist has a right tO limit anyone's freedom of speech in that way. Besides social media and The press would be his deepest ally. IF there would be more to this he would not quite.

FirstLy, instagram is for not financial purposes so its perfectly legal to post anyone's art.

Secondly, Madonna's team has checked The second artist probably. and thats fine to trust.And in that case this is just a mistake and can be easily corrected. If not compensate, then simply remove. Its only like a second. They are unaware of a third party claims. IF The second artist is making money with The first, thats their problem, not Madonna's. Noone is payed for The fan tribute montage.

ThirdlyThirdly, in this case its a question of quotation rights which gives freedom to use copyright Material in certain cases. This is probably one of those. This is bases to ALL montage art and why there are no credits.

Fourthly, Gaga among many others have done The same. During MB The Warhol ones at least. Shouldn't you attack her too? And hundreds of others.. It ALL comes down to said quotation right.

The artist however, isn't deluded by stan mentality like you, thus why he wishes to be acknowledged and isn't just satisfied with her using his work uncredited. It has yet to be resolved. I don't think you saw my last post but when a post on tumblr gets so popular, the only way to stop getting notes for it, is to of course, delete it. The artist had 38,000 notes on that post, while most of their other artwork only got a few hundred notes. They more likely than not wanted to stop getting notes on that post to clear up notifications. 

And the credit on the post put on on Madonna's page (I checked a few hours ago) is still "given" to the incorrect "artist" (bessnyc4). It likely hasn't been resolved and the artist just gave up on trying to get her team to give credit.

you are biased towards her, delusional about reality and the things i mentioned are 100% undisputed fact, whatever you do history won t change. As for the artist we likely have to do with someone trying to get some publicity stunt and the funny thing is that he was one of 1,000 artworks displayed at the rebel heart  backdrop. Seems so desperate to me. I mean his contribution was like 0,001% to the show. And madonna in instagram uses millions of people s artwork or mixing different well known or not artworks.
