Lion Heart 15,041
On October 2–just one day after Obama suggested an Australian-like gun ban might be the way forward for America–a gunman opened fire outside a daycare by State Crime Command in Sydney, Australia. Fox News reports “at least two are dead.”Details are scant, but The Sydney Morning Herald reports that “the gunman, who one witnessed said was dressed in a black gown, opened fire on a police IT worker outside the State Crime Command, which houses some of the state’s top detectives, in Parramatta at 4.35pm on Friday.”The shooting in Australia came the day after Obama held up Great Britain and Australia as counties that tackled gun crime by disarming law-abiding citizens. In December a gunman took hostages in a Sydney cafe. Reuters reported that the 34-year-old cafe manager and a 38-year-old mother were killed in that standoff.http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/10/03/shooting-gun-free-australia-leaves-least-two-dead/http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/02/world/australia-shooting/index.html ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Redstreak 6,653
The way that Breitbart article tries to shamelessly frame the story with that title They're literal trash Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Terrible. We still need better gun laws in the US. Bebe 17,289
The difference between Australia and America is that here, when 2 people are shot dead, the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader speak out and call it a chilling crime. In the US it takes a death toll of around 10 people until it garners any reaction. Morphine Prince 109,683
That title I swear, FAUX News infuriates me with their BS. Now they will use this to appeal to the lowest common denominator that are their viewers so that nothing is done about mass shootings in this country. DrewStevens 5,249
That's very sad and tragic. But the fact that whoever who wrote this is using the deaths of 2 people to "prove a point" is disgusting
Nicole 1,809
Lol this article is so wrong. It's not "at least 2 people are dead" - 2 are dead. That's it. There's no uncertainty about that. The shooters victim and the shooter himself. The details are not "scant" - the shooter has been identified with his photo being blasted all over the media, his previous activities have been identified, heck his school was published.Australia is not gun free. That's just a ridiculous, immature statement in itself to make Americans feel better about protecting their second amendment right.
HausAlly 799
regardless of any shooting that happens in Australia we are still a safer country (in terms of gun control) than america, because we actually have gun control
jojo Freud 653
Why is there the perception that Australia is gun free? It isn't you can buy a gun in Australia. Gun control rules aren't actually that strict here. Its just that many people after the national buy back of guns didn't bother going through the process of getting another one. My best friends family has a few guns, its not that rare. And I feel personally offended by that title, why is there a need to make a point in the title, a point which is 100% precent false, fabricated and as far away from the truth as it can be.
