Furious? :air: I thought it was rather reserved.

I just see it a lot - people using commercial success to put Lana down when that's just an idiotic thing to do for many obvious reasons. And especially in this case, when Gaga had her own commercial "disaster" (or that's the way it was styled anyway) not even that long ago and her sales drop isn't that far removed from Lana's.

I said "furious" cause your message seemed like you're defending her for someone attacking her lol. And noone was attacking her hence why your message was kinda weird

Who cares? The album is out and it's Lana's best album to date. If she cared about sales then she would be out promoting like a freak on every tv show but she doesn't, so why should we? :koons:

What's funny though is that MDNA flopped this hard on the second week even with all the promo from the 'Queen of Pop'. :trollga:

Pink flamingos always fascinated me.

Well, I mean it's obvious some if not most of the replies are of a mocking nature when really there is nothing to mock in this case and I just wanted to remind everyone that we're doing the exact same thing as other people did with us during ARTPOP & surely that can't be what we want :air:

I mean, it's not brain science to predict what kinds of comments would follow an OP like this.

Yeah, same happened with Lana stans after they dragged Gaga. Karma is da b---h

Except no Lana fan really expects her to have commercial success and she isnt pulling stuffb like #PopEmergency/BuyApplauseAndShowMeTheReceiptContest/ApplausePlaylist :proud:

Who cares? It's a great album and it got great reviews from almost all the critics, and Lana herself said she doesn't give a crap about sales and charts. She made that clear when her previous album was released.

Well, I'm not a fan of Lana, though she i like some of her tunes. As an observer I'll say that, ok, it's not good news, but the album still has got some nice moments and Lana's fans (Lannisters, as I like to call them :v ) are quite loyal to her, so this won't matter at all to them...

I hope she does better commercially in the future, though, so she can keep making music on the level that she is right now and being able to reach as much people as she does today...

Now, to all the butthurt Lana fans, complaining that ppl are talking about it: fvck off! You go on and on about every piece of bad press Gaga gets, so you can't really complain. So stop whining and let people forget about it.

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Oh really? Is that why Lana stans were calling people "pressed" and "delusional" when they pointed HBTB couldn't debut at #7.

Im saying truth. Lana stans are coming for Gaga all the time so lets not

Also: Why do y'all always have to drag Gaga into this and take jabs at her? :madge:

No one is doing that. No one.

Typical how simply making a connection with Gaga to create perspective (meaning: these album drops really aren't that significant or worthy of mockery - actually the opposite of taking jabs at her) is seen as something even remotely negative on this site.

Wow, that's a lot!

Does it really matter though? Most people who want an album will buy it the first week anyway.

For someone like Taylor an 80% drop wouldn't even matter if she sold 1M the first week :rip:

yeah, she dropped like almost 70% and she still had the second highest sales week of the year :rip:

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
