I guess part of that was the lack of promotion for the song too tbh. Im hoping that with all the acclaim and notice shes getting, radios will welcome her new bop. And before yall scalp me, im not saying that it wont be played, im just somewhat worried since we know how things went last time she released a single. K. IF ARTPOP was more planned out we would have had 2 singles in between GUY and DWUW and it would have still received MTN treatment. so don't worry the world loves her again and so they should/ If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. So I think she'll be fine this time around, assuming she'll be properly promoting her first single You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you. InsideOutright 1,118 Posted October 2, 2015 Share Posted October 2, 2015 If it's mostly family-friendly, it's not overshadowed by anything else, and it's not released too close to the holidays, then hopefully.Where I live, Applause was mostly snubbed on radio for the latter two reasons. There were so many hits when it came out that radio was too busy playing and when Applause finally started getting noticed, it was dumped for Christmas songs soon after and then they forgot about it. I heard nearly every 2013 "hit" on the radio more often than Applause...I'm just worried that radio won't want to give her another chance because it's been a while.
