Not what I expected.

This is nicely written! :applause: Cute. The idea of success in the music business being "genuine happiness" is a mess, but she tried & obviously her happiness is more valuable than commercial success.

What she displays publicly vs to what she really feels inside are completely controlled by her assistants hands posting the picture.

I know, her label in the US thought that album "wouldn't work there" so Jessie J pushed back the released & she sad she was goin' to work in another version of Alive for the US, which eventually ended being another album: 'Sweet Talker', ironically ST is her weakes album :air:

How come? :duck: Why would they think that?

i don't know :air:, but that album wasn't available in the iTunes store for U.S., in my country it was tho, in Who You Are & Alive she was the main writer, but for Sweet Talker she barely have writing credits, & you can tell it was aimed for America when they change her sound & Bang Bang & Burnin' Up were chosen as singles :air:  i think Masterpiece/Ain't been Done is more her sound than the two first singles

I know, it took me time to appreciate Sweet Taker tbh :air:  at first i was really hyped 'cuz we knew about Ain't been done, Sweet Talker & i think Sweet taker, but when Bang Bang was released i had a big meltdown :air: and then Personal as promo single and then Burnin' Up, uglasdñfjkasdf  dark days tbh

TBH it was a terrible album and I'm a fan of Jessie J and Who You Are is a perfect song.

No! Alive is pretty rad, i love that album :whitney:  Sweet Talker on the other hand.. tragic
