I had never really heard of her before Scream Queen, but boy does she have great comedic timing. I can't wait to see more from her.

A churro is a fried-dough pastry. Churros are popular in Spain, France, the Philippines, Portugal, Ibero-America and the Southwestern United States.

Ibero-America comprises the countries in the Americas that are former colonies of Portugal and Spain, including Mexico.

Source: Wikipedia and my friend Tiffany, who got a dozen free churros after blowing a street food vendor in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Making a joke about a specific culture's food does not mean you believe one race is superior to another, which in case you didn't know, is the definition of racism.

In my opinion, accusing someone of being a racist is a far more serious and offensive attack on their character then a joke about a piece of fried dough being stuck in your vagina.

And in the future, if you are going to accuse someone of being racist, you should probably make sure they aren't praising racial diversity in television while you call them a racist.

1. the long as$ essay you quoted doesn't say that churros INDEED are from Spain and
2. you were being racist and making fun of the stereotypical Mexican (why didn't you say "baguette"?)
3. your username's SKANK so I should have expected a shady comment now get lost you skunk

I'll give you an abridged version of my post, since you had difficulty understanding.

I identified an actor as Mexican American when he is actually Mexican. Rather then politely correct that mistake, you felt the need correct me in a snotty way. I in turn made a joke about you having a churror stuck up your cooch, a play on the common expression "stick up your ass.". Churros are popular in Ibero-America countries like Mexico.  We were talking about Mexico, so if I had said something about you sticking a baguette up your vag, that wouldn't have made sense considering the context of our conversation.

Mexican, PERIOD :miley:

If we want to go crazy, he is Hispanic, Latino, Mexican, American, Puerto Rican, Spanish and more I'm sure. This isn't even considering that Latin Americans originated from Spaniards and Native Americans, and Native Americans originated from East Asia. Not to mention that nationalities and race are completely different things. Latino is the closest thing to a race for him, but to be honest when latinos have to fill out the "race" box on the census it's very confusing for them because "latino" isn't a race according to higher institutions. I would know, I never feel right putting "white," but nothing seems to fit better for me.

Considering the complexity of the topic I find it concerning that you would take someone with such a colorful and diverse background and limit it to just "Mexican. Seems a little... racist :hor:

I called him Mexican cuz I'm Mexican and I felt that this female skunk was um appropriating him and it's sad that you don't see a lot of latino talent on international media, and when you see latinos they're usually from Colombia (Sofia Vergara) and I'm pretty aware that it exists this taboo that all Mexicans are short, ugly and with a mustache like Tiziano Ferro said several years ago... even Elvis was highly hateful towards Mexicans and I'm really proud to see this kid, Diego, an actor I've seen on soap operas since I was in diapers, achieve his goals to become an international actor. I'd be offended if y'all called Salma Hayek Mexican American, too. You now who's Mexican American? Selena, Selena Gomez, Mario Lopez and I'm not even sure. Oh and if latino is not a race, "American" is further from being one.

did you get a wp? or why the hell are you still replying? you aren't being polite for doing so
and what is that little "comprender?" at the end? If you wanna go full Spanish on me use this "¿" to open your question like it's done in Spanish. I'm not searching for native american transtations for you to understand me so why would you write in Spanish?

You still seem confused, so I'll try this one more time without the churro flavored snark and smart-ass Spanish.

I wrote a post applauding racial diversity in Ryan Murphy's productions. You quoted me and with irrational hostility corrected a simple mistake I made about an actors nationality.

Do you now understand that this entire argument stemmed from you being unnecessarily rude?

Alright, the third times the charm. This is my last reply to you because you are either incapable of understanding or pretending not to understand.

I mistakenly assumed that a relatively unknown actor on an American television show, portraying an American character, was in fact American. You could have said, "Actually Diego Bonteta is Mexican." (As someone else did in this thread when I misidentified a British actor's nationality.) In stead you said "Mexican, PERIOD :miley:" Which is a dick way of correcting someone's simple mistake, so I replied sarcastically.

You engaged me in a rude way, so I responded in a rude way. PERIOD.
