Washington (CNN) - Hillary Clinton's lead in the Democratic presidential primary race has grown.

Clinton is backed by 42% of Democratic primary voters nationally, compared to 24% for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 22% for Biden and 1% for former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley.

That's a marked improvement over an early September CNN/ORC poll that found Clinton leading Sanders, 37% to 27%, with Biden at 20%.

I don't see a Democrat winning presidency next year imo:koons:

A Democrat WILL win. It's almost guaranteed.

Have you seen the Republican candidates? :smh:

Clinton doesn't deserve it and Trump even less. Make Bernie or Biden happen, America

It's funny because Biden is not even running.

He won't. He won't even get the nomination.

IF he does I will be SHOCKED at how the Republican party is basically self destructing.

Well, Carly Fiorina is at least somewhat a "good" (compared to others) Republican candidate. But even then, all of them suck.:air:

George Bush.

Bush won the primary in 2000 with over 60% of votes.

He, however, did NOT win the public vote for president. The electoral college made him president.

The Democrats are still faves, but Hillary could be defeated by one of the less-bad Republican candidates given the pro-outsider mood of the country.

Trump's anti-immigration message would appeal to some blue collar Dems, along with the fact he's moderate on a lot of other issues where mainstream Reps are extreme. I wouldn't count out Carly F or Rubio either. Bush III would be a sure loser, as would anti-union asshole Gov. Walker.
