lego 44,165
A Texas man who says “Police Lives Matter” has be exposed for vandalizing his own truck and blaming police accountability protests. Scott Lattin was tired of all the criticism police were receiving for shooting unarmed African Americans as well as anyone else who they believed they could kill and get away with it. So he claimed anti-police vandals had spray painted his pickup truck with the phrase “Black Lives Matter.” The only problem was it was a lie. He made it up. All of it. Lattin was arrested on Friday, facing a misdemeanor charge of filing a false police report. The whole thing is, “very disturbing,” according to Whitney Police Chief Chris Bentley. Bentley said the investigation turned to Lattin because after FOX4 first broke the story. “We had initial video when the officers took the report and then when we saw your story on Channel 4. When we looked at those two videos, there were some differences in those and that led us to take the investigation into a different direction,” Bentley explained. Bentley added that when the police report was filed, they noticed that there was no damage to the interior of the vehicle. But when local Fox4 news showed up to report on the vandalism, Lattin showed the glove box ripped off and the seats slashed. Lattin is hurt by the accusation that he did this himself. “That’s absolutely not true! Absolutely not true,” he asserted to Fox 4. But in the arrest warrant affidavit, it says that Lattin admitted damaging the inside of his vehicle for the insurance money. Lattin could be facing felonies as a result of his extensive lying. “We have so many groups that have participated and come to Whitney, Texas of all places to help these people– and for them to have been deceived? It’s just wrong!” Bentley added. Lattin’s neighbor Levonda Bradshaw said she knew no one but Lattin did this, because her dogs bark relentlessly when anyone approaches either of their houses. Since she didn’t hear a peep out of her dogs, she knew they must have recognized the scent of whoever vandalized the vehicle. “Oh this just makes me sick! This is just wrong,” Marty Rosseau, a Whitney resident, said. Now, the Lattin family has started a Go Fund Me page to help pay for legal expenses for the faked vandalism. They’ll likely need some cash to fix the truck he messed up too, since insurance will not be covering that sort of thing. The police chief says he is working with Go Fund Me to send back the $6,000 to duped donors. “One of the social media pages” asking for support for Lattin, says “My husband is an officer, I can give you $25 because that’s all I can afford,” in the comments. “That just ripped at my heart,” Bentley said. In an earlier interview with local reporters, Lattin’s son said that he wanted to be a police officer. Now that his father has been exposed, he had no comment. http://countercurrentnews.com/2015/09/man-his-own-truck-with/# FreePalestine
Hauser 1,262
Disgusting man, he truly is the physical representation of the "AllLivesMatter" people who try every day to diminish racism in America, and the fact that more people decided to GIVE him $6,000 in donation in the name of racism is so telling. Im so glad he got caught and exposed.
