“I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that.”

In his NBC interview, Carson was asked: “So do you believe that Islam is consistent with the constitution?”

“No,” he said, “I don’t, I do not.”

Not surprising. This is someone who probably values their faith as an aspect of their presidential job. I'm sure he feels the same about atheists or anyone not christian.

It's gross and pretty un-American.

Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?

Lol that's funny because a major reason why America wss founded was because of religious oppression. :smh: Land of the free? Home of the brave? Get outta here.

Land of the free, home of the brave ONLY if you're US born, middle class, educated, blindly patriotic, Christian apparently.

This man is a NEUROLOGIST. He is brilliant yet he goes and says something like this... not too long ago someone would've said "I would not advocate that we put a black person in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that."

funny because it was Bush that did 9/11 not a muslim

no, just no.

And Ben isn't referring to terrorism or radicals here. He believes any Muslim shouldn't be the President, due to his extremely conservative Christian beliefs. He would say the same thing about a Buddist or Atheist.

I wonder what he would think about a Jewish president? They worship the "Hebrew God" like Christians do, so that might be alright under his narrow religious beliefs.

The second point is interesting. Does Islam directly conflict with the constitution? I know there are currently two Muslim US congressmen.

First Gay is a choice because men in prison sleep with other men, and now Muslims cant be president :proud:

Really Ben sit down :rip:

Why are all the republicans (Except MAYBE John Kasich) SO far right and extreme in their positions this time around :saladga: Can you imagine the absolute landslide victory Democrats would have if they didn't have the big names like Donald Trump and Jeb Bush for even word-of-mouth popularity  Like people are becoming more and more progressive (especially the youth in this country) so why would you want to promote the most conservative candidates? :wtf: Its perplexing :emma:

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
