But some people would call that racial profiling and to let Dzhokhar go. Then later BOOM! people got killed and maimed because the fear of racial profiling. A guy carrying a cooker around during a marathon is not suspicious. Many people bring food and beverages to marathons. Police did not ask him anything because they didn't notice him. If a police officer would have inspected the object there was no way he would have let him go. Police officers profile people based on their race all the time.You are still comparing a innocent kid to a terrorist who killed and harmed a lot of people. The comparison is stupid and extremely offensive.The kid didn't make a bomb and was detained and his civil rights were violated. Now honored by MIT. A comparison between Ahmed's clock, and components pulled straight out of a commercial clock. Ahmed clock "built" in 20 seconds. It's not impressive to unscrew a panel and dump the internals into a case. I just feel kinda disappointed. Not knowing much about electronics I can't be sure he didn't build it himself, but it does look bad. Not knowing much about electronics I can't be sure he didn't build it himself, but it does look bad. It is impressive because in America you rarely see kids trying to do anything besides eating garbage and playing Minecraft on their iPads/iPhones. It doesn't mean he is a genius but it's good to see someone as young as him so curious about how these things work and trying to impress a teacher with actual skills.
