Yes, Gaga's work has meaning, but I don't think Miley is making a mockary of Gaga at all. Gaga is and wasn't the first person in pop to shock and make headlines. Its what pop evolved too appareantly, and maybe the past VMA's were proof it's gone too far, but I don't think Miley is to blame. Mtv and record labels/managerment are for not taking music and artists seriously.Love Jenna's arguments. Cute praise, but nah...Gaga has been dressing weird and extrevaggant since before she became a pop star.I do believe that at one point they knew it's a great tool and as any intelligent businessman/showman would do, they used that tool. But it didn't start that way, it was all PASSION and creativity.Let alone that Gaga's team (Troy) have asked Gaga millions of times to tone it down and to be beautiful and **** like that and she has refused (maybe a mistake, but still - Passion and not marketing).Gaga is not a marketeer. If it depends on her, she could rise UP, but she could also ruin her whole career. Gaga doesn't see it as shocking and she hasn't really changed much where as Miley is literally trying to run away from her childhood image and is trying to be shocking and she's using the whole artsy tumblr white girl crap to do it now. She could at least site her inspirational sources like Gaga has done since the Just Dance era...Plus Miley has been exploiting marijuana in a positive light and Gaga has always even in her admission of smoking pot has not encouraged it, hasn't really put it in our face much and when she has put it in our face it's not been in a promotional manner like Miley's has.
