How can you compare Gaga's impact to Madonna's? You don't even have to be a Madonna fan to know that's delusional. Madonna changed the entire system, directly influenced what we still see and hear today. Gaga has made temporary impact, but nothing as grand as that. Yet, anyway. Sure, she played within the system like no one around her at the time, but she did not break any rules, did not set new standards, and if her career ended today there is not one change she'd be directly responsible for. Is there even such a change even visible in pop culture today compared to what Madonna brought to the table?

Gaga not providing that huge impact isn't even a problem, it's fans like you who consider that a MUST and anyone dismissing that suggestion must necessarily be a hater. If Gaga will be remembered for anything specific in terms of impact, it would be her strategy in social media and the use of new media to attract and keep a fanbase, yes, but ironically that's the only impact her fanbase never discusses

I don't see the point of your last sentence as well, if there is anyone that hates the current Madonna (musically speaking) it's going to be me, I never denied and actually was always vocal about my opinions on Rebel Heart, I'd dare you to find one positive comment I made regarding that embarrassing album.

The reports from this topic aren't fun guys, please keep discussion to the topic and not on a personal member level  Differences of opinion and disagreements are totally fine but remain civil and mature when discussing and debating. It's easy to slip into making jabs at each other so before posting re-read your post once or twice to make sure it's free from that stuff because it's really not needed, it doesn't do anything except add to hostility between members  

But yeah with regards to the interview thing ouch  I'm not sure really, like yeah Madonna's not exactly Christina Aguilera when it comes to vocals but there's more to her than that. I guess it comes down to how much you value a person's singing voice over all else  I did find the switch up from talking about Madonna's voice to the meat dress within the same sentence kinda funny in a random way

Pop rock is not rock. Listen to or watch Iron Maiden's performances in their prime to witness true rock authenticity. But in the case of rock, that is actually what she started doing and what she naturally wanted to do. And she clearly has the ability to be a great rock performer and singer. Is not a coincidence that so many rock legends have already noticed this. Gaga is always very honest about her ability and love for rock. If that is not rock authenticity then I don't know what "rock authenticity" is.

Tony wants her to quick pop to make jazz, Iron Maiden and other rock legends want to steer her to rock music.
