Morphine Prince 109,645
NEW YORK -- Donald Trump signed a pledge on Thursday to back the Republican presidential nominee and not to run as an independent should he not win the party's nomination."I have signed the pledge," Trump said, noting that he felt he had been treated fairly by the Republican party. ""I will be totally pledging my allegiance to Republican party and to the conservative principles for which it stands."The pledge is a political document, not a legally binding one, and Trump could consider changing his mind if he feels disrespected by national Republicans, The Washington Post reported.Trump insisted on Thursday that would not be the case."I have no intention of changing my mind," he said.Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-third-party-independent_55e856cfe4b0aec9f35631a0

GloZell Green 11,723
You misread. He said he feels he had been treated fairly and that is why he is pledging to fully support the Republican party. Oh my sorry, I rush read it as "nothing of support" But yeah, he's acting like a puppet of the republicans, saying every little thing that they hint with their actions. He's obviously going to support the people who are treating him like some sort of God. Lady Gaga | Shakira
Warholian 6,880
Not legally binding. Members of Trump's campaign have also stated that they cannot guarantee that he won't break his pledge. It's obvious he'll be running as a third party candidate when he loses the nomination, stating that 'the Republican Party mistreated him' and that's why it's justified. With or without Trump Clinton's winning the general election. Trump running as an independent will just make it easier. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga.
