Jjang 2,262
Because you should be original and successful. Anyone can be successful if they feed off of others Most of those lawsuits were either rejected, dismissed or won by Madonna. Aisha's cases were all rejected in a heartbeat because the woman herself was mental. MJ had over 1,500 lawsuits by the way, yet you won't dare to deny his impact. Gaga has already been accused of plagiarism for Bad Romance, Poker Face, Judas, Hair, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory, Paparazzi, So Happy I Could Die and Alejandro. It's no secret that once you become an established icon people will try to make money off of you (look at Gaga's Rob Fusari case for example). It's all bull****. DiscoHeaven23 35,007
$500 a seat? I am sorry I don't care who you are I am not paying that much to see you. it can happen with many older acts. Acts who's fans were in their teens and 20's back in the day are now in their 40s/50s/60s and are well established financially and are willing to pay that much to experience immense nostalgia. These are referred to as Nostalia Acts. (Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Rolling Stones, Madonna, etc) The majority of people that go to Madonna concerts arent there to see her perform Hard Candy/MDNA/Rebel Heart songs. They're there for Holiday, Like A Virgin, Live to Tell, Like A Prayer, Vogue, Take A Bow, Frozen, Music and Hung Up.

I'm just replying to your statement about those music websites. I'm giving you the summary of all of them, which according to Metacritic, not Wikipedia, states it's enjoyed good reviews. So BYE. I am established financially though and still think $500 for a single seat is way too much. I get what you are saying- but to me its greedy. She was all ART IS FOR FREEDOM. Yet when it comes to her specific art form. Concerts and performing her songs- there is a BIG $$$ value attached. I am sorry but it is hypocritical and not worth that much. jojuun 4,159
Michael's lowest selling album since 1979 and not after his death was 13 Million worldwide. Lol hardly a flop. Madonna has had a couple flops but she is still the best selling female artist of all time. Before that he was with Motown. Motown rarely paid for certifications. No one knows how much those artists actually sold.Michael never made an album in the digital era so how does the comparison work? Madonna's lowest before the digital era is 6 million and that number hasn't been updated since the 1990s. I'm sure more people have (or illegally downloaded) Erotica by now as it is seen as an infamous cult album. Michael has spent a large deal of his career hyping himself by the way. Sony spent astronomical amounts of money on him and paid publications. Look up his "artist of the millenium" deal his management paid for. Guess that makes up for Motown not paying for titles and certifications.
