Hillary Clinton will most likely be the next president, but if it's not a democrat I highly doubt it would be Trump. This one poll doesn't prove anything. You have to look at the trends between polls taken over longer periods of time. Besides, the presidential race will look completely different a year from now.

Trump is a media darling at this point because when he makes headlines, people will read, much like Sarah Palin in 2008. Of course he's high in the polls because he's being reported on more than any other GOP candidate. That doesn't at all mean that he's a shoo-in for President.

I'm gonna scratch the surface, so, here goes. This is somewhat skewed to an American political system.

I. THE LEFT          II. INDEPENDENT          III.THE RIGHT

-Liberal                     -Not quite either             - Conservative

-Wants change         -Wants some change     - Doesn't want change/Wants to revert change

Trump is currently leading polls for the conservative, or Republican, voters. The GOP (Republican party) uses these polls and primaries to determine who they want to back fully. If the public likes Trump, which currently is the trend, all the other republicans running under the party will quit the race essentially and give their full support to the parties candidate, IE probably trump. The 'pledge' he just signed is basiclly a public commitment that he will back-out and support whomever the GOP picks. Though, he doesn't exactly need to, since it's more of a promise with no legal backing.

I believe that Trump's current polls are more of a joke than true support. These polls aren't accurate, and most of the general public has no say, so they're really scaled. Plus, most people aren't worried about the 2016 elections in 2015. But here's the kicker:

Even if the public picks "Deez Nutz", a guy who is actually running atm, it won't really amount to anything. America has an electoral system that chooses random, and sometimes not so random, individuals to vote that states electoral vote. This is pretty much the safe-guard from the public being duped/misled by a fascist guy like Hitler.

Bottom Line: There is no way Trump will win the GOP ticket or be anywhere near the final ballot.

There is no way that he will win. The fight has not even begun.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Without Hispanic votes, Trump will have a hard time winning. He shouldn't had use harsh words like "rapists" and "killers" when referring to illegal Mexicans, since less than 2% of the illegals are. He should talk about how the illegals are wasting our water and increasing our drought, like the 2.8 million CA illegals using 224 MILLIONS gallons of water per day. So just deporting 50% of the illegals would instantly solve the CA drought problem since we only need like 100K illegals to work in the farm and do menial jobs that Americans may not like to do (dishwashing, carwashing, cleaning, etc...), but we have legal residents that are doing those jobs too. Also, the 2.8 million CA illegals cause the rent and housing prices to increase by 25% to 40% because of higher demands, so deporting just 50% would lower the rent for most legal residents. Furthermore, an illegal family of 5 use more taxes money than they put in since their three kids already cost taxpayers $30K/year just for public schooling, and they pay less than $4K in taxes on their probable $40K/year income with all those Child Tax Credits.

Because 57% of all illegals are Mexicans according to the statistic because they share the same border with the U.S.

I get that "Mexicans" get blamed for a lot of things that aren't their fault.  They aren't the cause of a lot of the gang violence and d--g crime come thru Central America.     They are some Mexican people involved, sure, but the nationality as a whole shouldn't be lumped into the 'cartel' image.

Many American's in cities that are swarmed with the Latino immigrants get frustrated when they compare their own family history and the struggles they endured to get to america only to watch 'amnesty' given away like coupons....8-/

"Socialist Bernie Sanders"

Bernie is a centrist, it's just that the majority of  American morons are so far right ever since Reagan that they don't know any better.
