We literally moved here 4 weeks ago and nobody knows our names yet. My sister and my dad and I were just like OH MY GOOOD That photo literally accurately describes me rn. There's no reason why the best songs on the album should be the ones that have been on his YouTube channel, some for over a year (i.e. Often). He really let himself go in terms of lyrics and music. I loved Trilogy AND Kissland, and BBTM is just so . . . cringeworthy. I had to put Cola on her phone for her after she heard me playing whilst I was getting ready once That's why I'm putting it off a tad, I downloaded Kissland and Trilogy but I haven't listened to both of them properly and I'm only about halfway through Trilogy as I found I liked a lot of the songs but they sounded a little samey all in one sitting so I'm breaking them up. I want to listen to all his older stuff properly before I go onto BBTM I'm pretty sure by the time the leak came, I was exhausted... I can't even remember my first listen. Ultraviolence's leak is more memorable because it felt like it came out of nowhere for me as I was driving all day so I came home to the full leak and chilled out with a glass of wine in the garden to it. Today’s my birthday and it’s bad enough that nobody has called or texted me, my girlfriend is mad, I woke up alone on the couch, and our plans to go to niagara falls for the weekend were financially sidelined, but this album leaked in 192kbps?! WHAT THE **** IS THAT ****?!?!?! I listened to Born To Die for the first time during a breakup, Paradise when exploring love again, the Lana Del Ray S/T when training for a race in New York City, and shortly after that, Ultraviolence when flying to Tennessee for Bonnaroo last year. I am NOT listening to this in 192kbps on a ruined birthday. Whoever “leaked” this needs a kick in teeth. If this is a first world problem of catastrophic proportions, I don’t know what is.
