So the second target was a no go as well, we got several different employees to check the back and offered bribes/etc. and all of them said that HM wasn't in the back. One employee told us that their shipments come in on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays. Which means they'll most likely get the shipment in with the copies tomorrow or Wednesday (due to labeling/stocking/inventory). I'll come back to this location tomorrow around 1 PM and see if they've gotten it (We have a connect at this store that would be willing to sell it to us under the table as soon as they get the shipment in so that's good at least)
xx"

Looks like we are getting CD/HQ Honeymoon tomorrow.

I showed him Blue Jeans when she first came out and he didn't truly listen until last year, and he loved it so much he made a 1-track CD of it and listened to it on repeat for 6 months :rip: He didn't want to listen to anything else because he was afraid nothing would be as great, so one Friday I just put on BTD in the car and by the end of that weekend he knew ALL of her album songs:smh:

He's a stan now, but I'd say his favorites are BTD, Blue Jeans, Videogames, Ride (his absolute favorite; this song makes him cry), American, Cruel World, Ultraviolence, and Shades of Cool (his other absolute favorite). Album-wise, Paradise is his favorite.

He loves Lana because she sings with soul and is reminiscent of artists from his generation (he's 62). My mom only likes Dark Paradise and Blue Jeans, and she's 50, so I don't know how you want to interpret that, but my mom likes hip-hop so :laughga: I hope your dad loves her!

My dad is a biker so Ride will probably resonate with him the most.

I just hope the "you can be my full time daddy" line won't be awkward. :air:

Maybe Blue Jeans is a safer option since there's no daddy lines. :fan:

Omg yes he'll love Ride! My dad drives a lot too so that has to do with it. Driving to stay sane really resonated with him, and I imagine it's the same with a biker -- same concept, different vehicle.

He'll get over it, don't worry. My dad blasts Cola :lmao: at first I hesitated singing it (I'm mid-20s) but now it's the norm :smh:

Do you think Blue Jeans is his style? :legend:

Well my dad (and mom actually) are mainly into country music, they met country dancing actually, so I don't know what Lana style he will like best. Ride seems more parent friendly tho and probably Summertime Sadness too. We drive a lot when I'm up there (whether it be on the bike or in his truck) so I'll probably make a playlist and burn it onto a cd. :emma:

I think he will love God Knows I Tried because of it's Janis Joplin vibe, he's blue collar, religious, and he grew up listening to The Eagles so he should love the Hotel California reference.

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

I'm sad that there's no bonus tracks this time around. I need "Life Is Beautiful"

From what I've heard, which is only the released singles, they are all better than LIB

I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.

Yep, not here for the disrespect when she's better than the other basics, plus she doesn't do/say anything wrong, like Azealia lol.
