Problem sold 438k first week and almost debuted at number one. That was before the My Everything era based off the hype of her moderately successful Yours Truly era. I'm thinking that her next lead single will push more then that, considering her fanbase has grown quite a bit since Problems first week. On top of that, I'm sure the promo campaign will be bigger this time around new that'd she's an a-list pop girl. Radio is also very generous with Ariana and she'll for sure have a radio deal. The single will probably be very good considering that she's apparently in talks with Max Martin.

What do you think? With high digital sales and good first week radio, can Ariana's next lead single debut atop the chart?

After the backlash she's received over that ridiculous donut scandal AND the titanic success of My Everything she'll surely top the BB100 first week.

I would say not #1 (it's EXTREMELY difficult to do these days, as opposed to 4 years ago). Her only hope would be to release a video that goes viral the same week that she releases the song. But I will say that she'll almost definitely debut in the top 10. If Selena could do it, Ariana can.

Problem was .1% (or some stupid number) from number one when it debuted at number 3 so yes it definitely will. The sales will be lower but it will still be significantly more than the number one selling song of the week before it debuts.

I think Bieber could do it. I just don't think Ariana is at that level yet, and isn't making a huge publicized comeback to help increase numbers. Taylor Swift was the last to do it and the only one to do it since Digital sales, radio play, streaming and on demand have all been factors at play. Before it was just digital and radio, which made it much easier. I mean she was freaking Taylor Swift, of course she was gunna accomplish that.

I don't think her next single will have the same amazing sales as Problem, that kind success comes just once in a lifetime, Problem was her big catchy hit, probably some of her next singles will do well but not as good as Problem.

I think at least top 5, especially if Max Martin is at the helm. They don't call him a "hit maker" for nothing. And she's already a big pop star.

As for her earlier scandal, I've heard virtually nothing about it since after the first two-three weeks it happened. From what I can tell it's fairly forgotten.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
