Quite honestly...I wasn't alive back then to see how it impacted pop. It's commonplace to see those things now but even my parents have said that back in the 80's nobody was on Madonna's level....everyone was sounding like her and dressing like her...

 

That's why a lot of 80's girls have that high pitch Minnie mouse voice cuz of Madonna...

i never listened to Like A Prayer tbh just the singles

Took me a long time to get into Like a Prayer.

Yes I did. My point is that MJ had choreographed performances, boundary pushing videos, and tours that consisted and fashion before Madonna starting with albums like Off The Wall, and following this with Thriller. Madonna was just a less talented more s-xualized MJ. So I would say Thriller is the most definite pop era.

I just realized something, if Madge is a less talented s-xualized MJ  - then what is Gaga? :chica: No shade, just curious for your answer.
