This is basically confirmed when Gaga said WE organized my schedule to focus on one thing at a time. Bobby and her have planned not just what they'll do but when...everything is a giant plan and that's a good thing. You know WHERE you're going and you know what to focus on FIRST and that helps relieve stress

I don't think it's some master plan to get the love of the GP. I do think it's part of a plan to show the breadth of what she can do and expand her horizons doing things she loves. Maybe that leads to live from the GP, maybe not, but I don't think getting the love of GP is the underlying reason for all this. 

I feel it is for the most part. Sure she loves to perform so her heart is in it and it's not just for the money or to get praise from critics and the GP. But she's a business woman too. I mean think about it, she hasn't sung any of her own songs since artrave ended. All her performances were at huge events like the Stevie Wonder tribute, Sting tribute, Baku opening ceremony(which she got $2 million for).

To me Bobby is 'cleaning her slate'. They are going it for the GP, because the fans aren't really on their mind right now it seems. She doesn't really mention us on social media, make Gagavisions or post exclusive stuff on Littlemonsters.com. She needed a break from all the hysteria and focus on her private life, her health and one project at a time after all these crazy years. 

She was focussed on Cheek to cheek, now she's focussed on AHS and to keep her in view of the GP, she pops up and sings her heart out every now and then at a big event. Nothing wrong with it, just a but boring to some of us fans. I loved every performance she did this year but I'm not gonna lie I miss her theatrics and her raw artistry, her own words and melodies. 

So this is not just a 'plan' to get back the GP, but also to 'tease' her fans, keep us monsters hungry.

Is there a less appealing road after an era that was supposed to be about Gaga breaking free from all this unnecessary, tiring and hypocritical bs?

Disagree Success maybe. Anyway, I'm happy for her, but personally I feel like we might as well have skipped the ARTPOP era entirely 'cause nothing that she mentioned there survived in any possible shape or form.

Fans change all the time too, during ARTPOP she was better than her competitors because she didn't care about success and now that success is back on the table they do the dance again & will lift her on a pedestal for making herself likeable for the public. As a fan who actually sincerely appreciated the message of ARTPOP in its core, that latter scenario would be disappointing to say the least. & I know that will sound like I'm a hater, but actually I just really loved the idea Gaga presented as the future of her career which is now disappearing (and you can't criticize me for that, so don't try).

In other words, she didn't release it because she was afraid it would not be well received by all means necessary. How does that contribute to the ARTPOP message?

I don't think she was "afraid" of the lack of chart success, I think ultimately she created some works she just didn't want judged.

Yes it is ! And she knows the 'bling' part is important too... 

I mean do you really think she wants to return to her TFM dark side just for music or art ? Of course not. She knows it's how people like her to be. She'll have the music AND the bling. Like she had both in the past. I don't find it bad to have both sucess and great music.

I always founded the phrase 'music not the bling' quite hypocritical coming from a huge super star like Lady Gaga.

I think people take the 'music not the bling' too seriously. It's kinda like saying 'I'd kill to see Lady Gaga live' you wouldn't actually kill someone but you would do as much as possible to be there. To me, she was saying that she prefers creativity over success.

If she doesn't get anymore commercial success, can you imagine all the lies that will come along with the next era? If ARTPOP had matched BTW or close, I bet you that we would have a MV for every song, the app, AND Act II. 

For now, we need the GP on our side so Gaga can make an extravagant tour, flawless videos, and killer outfits. 

I want BTW-ERA-GA back. It seemed like there was something new each week from music to singles to perfume to fashion shows to remixes to videos ???

I just am so into Donovan these days I mean Matt Boner Bomer. The way he looked into Elizabeth's eyes, it's just so charming. Pretty sure Tom will make a return soon.
