So I was watching 1 Girl 5 Gays and at the 12:50 mark I heard the MANiCURE instrumental. I googled and this episode aired in 2012 and thought that it was really weird as ARTPOP came out in 2013! But yeah lol (You can probably only watch that with a proxy blocker thing)

I'm trying to believe that the song was simply already created back then and it somehow got sent to MTV, but this doesn't appear to be a good case for ARTPOP

That may be the case as some tv shows add or remove songs after an episode has been aired.
