Was GaGa a success because of the people around her?

Everyone who has had success got there because there were people around them who helped them. Whether it be supportive parents who paid for tutoring/schooling, mentors who gave guidance, teachers, investors who saw potential, nobody gets to the top all by themselves. Then once you do get to the top, there are always people around you who help execute and edit your visions. Nobody can do everything all by themselves.

I do believe that Gaga is the creative backbone in every aspect of her career. Just watch any of her interviews. You can tell she is extremely smart and creative. She has a vision and she knows what she is doing. I think she collaborates well and helps to bring out the best in the people around her.

Just as an example, this is how I think one of her music videos comes to fruition: Gaga writes the treatment for the video. This probably means the basic storyline of the video as well as costume and set design sketches. Then those ideas get filtered and edited as she discusses the video with her team. Other people make the costumes, set pieces, choreography all based on her initial vision but probably with a lot of their own input. During filming someone organizes the whole thing making sure the angles are correct. They end up with a ton of footage and I would imagine Gaga collaborates with the film director to help edit it. I kind of see her as the owner or manager of a company. Everything starts with her and then people with more film experience filter everything and add some of their own creativity.  She is there at every aspect making sure nobody strays too far from her vision.

yes.  nowadays she has changed so much. in my opinion, rob fusari created the gaga character, and co wrote, along with red one, (more than gaga would like to admit) on the fame album. then troy carter created a different gaga character. now that troy carter is gone, in my opinion, it seems like gaga has changed so much, and she don't know what to do. I love the cheek to cheek album, (im not talking about that) but ever since gaga (allegedly) broke her hip, and cancelled the born this way ball, she has been a different person, especially, when she came back from her "blackout". im not talking about her clothes, or looks, or anything, im just talking about gaga as a person has changed. there are small glimpses of her old self, but mostly, she has changed.
