the biggest word I used in that post has three syllables... that's big?

i'm sorry that my dislike for a drag queen has bothered you so much and caused you so much anger

I love that Drag culture is becoming mainstream, but I honestly can't stand the thought of straights stealing it like they stole or reused our old fashion sense and sayings, they're always taking 20 year old gay trends and trying to make them straight and mainstream it's annoying tbh.

Hope it's a good show though, but straight people can stfu when it comes to an opinion on Drag culture thanks.

Bit more OT: No Alaska aka the only actually funny and nice remaining queen (besides alyssa)? Byeeeee

I'm not sure how I feel about this? :what:

I really don't want the queens to be some sort of accessory for Miley for some jokes or to be seen as "freaks".

This.

I mean I don't think she is a bad person but it wouldn't be the first time she has accessorized herself with a minority.

Is it weird that although I love a lot of the queens in the OP.... I'm kind of annoyed that they're doing it? :rip:

I love RuPaul's drag race but that is just one dimension of drag and it's almost cheapening drag, in my opinion. It's actually kind of annoying that a few of the queens seem more worried about a cashing a quick cheque rather than actually doing anything for the community? Obviously that doesn't apply to all of them as quite a few have given back to the community but I can't help but feel some of this is actually just becoming exploitation of the gay community.

This shouldn't be happening :ohno:

why? they are just as much, if not better, great performers than the rest of what we have in current pop field...

Or is it exposing the world to drag using a different medium. This is actually a good thing.

Straight men have been dressing up in Drag for years. Drag isn't gay exclusive...

Is it though?

I'd much rather the world be exposed to and get to know the queens that fought for gay rights or those that use their spotlight for good, rather than queens that'll flash their tuck for a quick buck.
