What makes you like him?

everything he says sounds good to me and I agree with everything he has said in his speeches, interviews, and debates. He has good plans to make America great again. And I just like him as a person, he is like an anti politician, and he don't give a fvck. he doesn't care about being politically correct, and i love that. i could type a bunch of things he has said in his speeches, interviews, and about his plans, and i could type a bunch of things about him as a person, but i don't even need to because he is simple, no bullsh!t, and straight to the point. everybody can understand him, he has good plans for America, and he would be a great president, in my opinion.

I see what u mean and I personally like those traits in a candidate as well. I wish a more liberal candidate could exhibit them. I mean, he's homophobic, anti-environment and seems a bit racist. But if that doesn't matter to you as much as other issues, I can understand that. I respect your opinion.

He's a democratic socialist. The Russian Federation has never been communist, that was the Soviet Union (its predecessor). China is communist - there is a HUGE difference between communism and general socialism... and then democratic socialism. 

I suggest reading this - http://www.dsausa.org/what_is_democratic_socialism - it will give you a much better grasp of what true democratic socialism is, because it's not this evil thing that has been ingrained into the minds of Americans.

I think it'd matter if the voter were a straight, Christian white man because typically, more privileged people are less affected by other more privileged people. For example, Trump instituting policies to increase deportations of immigrants wouldn't affect a straight, Christian white man.  Therefore, they "wouldn't mind living in a world where someone like him is the president" because Trump's ideals don't necessarily affect them negatively. 

This is not to say all individuals that fit that demographic are racists and misogynists as Trump is.

European countries have a lot of socialist values, would you compare all those countries to Russia or China? And Bernie is amazing

What is great about socialism? Look at socialist countries like Sweden. 

Communism =/= Socialism. 

Socialism after Marx is the step before communism. (Not the Soviet Union or Chinese communism!). Socialism is based on equality, solitary and righteousness in a society, where is no private ownership of most important products, where is no exploitation of the working class and no paternalism when it comes to goods.

It's not that liberals hate that demographic, it's just that sometimes candidates that appeal to them do so by taking down other groups. Bernie Sanders is a white, old, male and he's religious yet a lot of liberals love him.
