Economy 52,864
www.ctvnews.ca/mobile/business/canada-s-inflation-rate-rises-to-1-3-in-july-driven-by-higher-food-prices-1.2527229 Like last year, Inflation in Canada continues to be led by food prices more than anything else. The reason? The rise and rally of the US Dollar! The main thing Canada buys from America is food. Canada is more dependant on food from the US than any other Nation. Canada especially depends on the US a lot for fruits, vegetables and many premade packaged food which is costing a lot more to import now.

craig 680
The California drought is also a factor. I saw avocados 2 for $4 yesterday. I've read predictions that they will be soon be priced as luxury goods due to environmental factors.
